Very Happy with this product.
The UnityStar gnome felting kit was the very first felting project I have done. It came with everything I needed in order to make all four gnomes including easy to follow instructions with clear pictures and a QR code for video instructions. I was very pleased with the outcome of all four of the gnomes I created prompting me to order several more kits so I can make more gnomes as well as some of the other felting items they offer. Since my purchase of this kit I have bought a few other kits from different companies and can say that in my opinion I find the UnityStar kits the best value and quality.I hope you have as much fun making your felting projects as I have, should you decide to purchase a kit.

fun introduction to needle felting
Got this to give needle felting a try; to see if it was a craft for me. It was lots of fun. Having the video tutorials was a help as I couldn't figure out the long hair!

Difficult instructions.
I actually enjoyed felting but I really struggled with some of the instructions. Photos of the back of the gnomes would have helped also. I had never felted before and luckily I have a computer so was able to look on line for further instructions. Love the results though.

Oh my!
This looked so easy and I had hoped with the help of the video it would be. Unfortunately, I could not get the video to work but went ahead anyway. My daughter could not stop laughing at the gnome which resulted from my attempt. I did watch several other videos but still the result was less than desirable. The felt has to be "punched" A LOT! Doing so with a single needle takes an extraordinary amount of time. I have seen felting needles that have 4 bundled together so that the punching goes much quicker. This might be a good idea for a child needing to have aggression channeled in a positive way. For me it was just frustrating.
