Really good proofer
Helped re proof an old tent that has been stored so in very good condition, but i wanted to make sure it was still waterproof. Easy and quick to apply with a paint pad, nice and even coverage that dries quickly

The best waterproofing liquid I have used
Easy to apply by spray or brush works very well lasts if put on correctly about two or three seasons/years. It's the one I always use.

Waterproof convertible roof
I bought this to waterproof the roof of my convertible. After trying many (often expensive) specialist products which I have always been left disappointed with when the waterproofing washes off with the power washer I did some research and Fabsil came up a few times so I thought I would give it a go.Tips. Make sure the roof is clean and fully dried out before application. Preferably clean the roof the day before. Work on a warm day. Apply in the shade but position in the sun to dry out.I used a clean paint brush to apply and worked along the roof in strips in one direction making sure to soak the fabric with Fabsil. I allowed the roof to dry in full sun for about 6 hours then applied again but in an opposing direction to the first application again making sure to soak the fabric, again leave to dry out in the full sun.Leave at least 24 hrs until the roof gets wet. The results where amazing, water beads on the roof and never soaks the fabric, I applied this 3 months ago in September and it still works just as well as when first applied even with washing the car most weekends. I would expect this to last through winter without another application. I have a S3 convertible to give an idea of roof size, I reckon I used about 1/3 of the can so great value. The product made my roof look blacker and almost sparkle in the sun. I have a new car but would imagine that it would darken a faded roof. It does smell a bit at first but the smell soon clears after a few days. BEST product I have tried to waterproof the soft top.

Great waterproofing
Fabsil does exactly as it says and provides a waterproof layer. We’ve covered our winter and ski jackets/salopettes which have been brilliant and stayed dry

Stopped leaks and pooling water on awning
I was amazed that 1 application of this product stopped the leaks on our caravan awning and rain water has stopped pooling where it had previously built up. We bought the awning pre owned and found it leaked in several areas and on one side of the roof the rain water pooled up which we kept having to push it off. My other half painted fabsil over the whole outside (not windows obs) with one generous application. It does have a strong solvent smell but we applied it in the garden and let it dry. When we use the awning a week later on the caravan, there was still a smell but by day 2 i didn't notice it any more (I have v sensitive sense of smell). We had stormy weather and lots of rain. I couldn't believe that there were no leaks at all and I wasn't expecting the pooling water to stop but it did! I highly recommend this product, it's worth the effort of applying it. Oh and 1 can just about covered the whole awning, sides included. Awning is a Kampa Dometic Rally 390 if you need size reference :)
