Great kit From ICM
These ICM kits are really quite nice in design and detail. The quality of the castings are clear to see on the sprues, fine engraved panel lines, removable panels for the machine gun openings and internal detail seems to be standard on these Spitfire kits as I have three different marques and they appear on all of them. The cockpit set up is excellent in detail with dash, seat, armour plates and frame work all there.Decal sheets look to be top quality and so are the instructions. A really good deal and price for a nice 1:48 Spitfire kit, get one and have a look as they really are the best as with Tamiya, Eduard and Trumpeter.

What a buy highly detailed looks by far the best spitfire kit
Well wot can I say the box is tiny for a 1-48 scale but as soon as I opened it up I was gobsmacked. What a buy highly detailed looks by far the best spitfire kit. Three options of spit can be built with this kit. Better than all the airfix. Revel even the tamiya hawasaga buy it u won't be disappointed

Looks like a good kit
I have seen a build of this model on You Tube and liked the level of detail straight out of the box, which prompted me to investigate and couldn't believe the price, when compared to other manufacturers offerings in the same scale. So far, all I have been able to do is check that all is OK in the box, so may submit a more detailed review once I have completed my build.

Great product for the money
Great product for the money, Not built yet so this is a brief overview, As mentioned before by other buyers; comes in quite a small box but its all there. Good detail, no flashing or slumps in the plastic moulding. Decals look good but no D Day stripes (Fair enough at this price)My top spend for model kits is £14 a month and I'm very impressed with this at about £12; so its great value from a company I hadn't previously heard of or bought from. I'll be buying the Spit with American decals in the near future from I C M.

Very nice kit
Very nice spitfire kit, engine a bit fiddly but Worth the effort. Great value for money considering 1/48 scale

Just too small
Okay I know this is a very cheap kit but just being honest it’s almost unbuildable. The instructions are tiny you need a magnifying glass for it. The kit does fit kind of well but it’s just not a fun build at all.

Not icm usual standard.
I like icm kits, thought I'd buy a smaller scale to what I usually do but was a little disappointed. Good enough for the price but lower than their usual quality, plus the instructions were for a 1/72 Spanish biplane fighter??? The seller is doing what they can to sort it as I can't locate any on the internet. I'm going to stick to 1/48 in future. Seem to be a sure thing.

Detailed Spitfire
A very nicely detailed Spitfire Mk 9 with engine which can be shown visible and can be detailed to the modellers discretion, reviews from other sites show fit issues but can be overcomed. Recommend for intermediate and upwards.
