As a matcha drinker I am very pleased with this product. It’s high quality for the money. Grades AAA and AAA+ are much more expensive, amazing teas but I chose to save some money getting this AA one and it hasn’t disappointed. Would recommend and will order it again. It’s not too bitter, beautiful green powder and it doesn’t leave any bad aftertaste. Lovely matcha.

This matcha powder is definitely better than the one I had before (not cerimonial grade). It has a bright green colour and delicious taste.A bit pricey for the amount of matcha you get, but quality is expensive.

Very high quality and very nice

I was looking for a new matcha brand to try, as my regular brand (which also holds a Great Taste award) was not available online during the pandemic, and I'm so glad that I discovered OMGTEA.I first came across them when I searched for award-winning matcha in the Great Taste award website, and saw that their classic (AA) as well as their more premium matcha teas (AAA and AAA+) have won the award. I didn't need a ceremonial grade tea, so I went for the cheaper AA grade, and I'm really happy with the result. I compared it to the little that I had left over of my previous favourite, and it does not compare in both colour, powderiness and taste.My first matcha latte was made with the same quantity as usual, and it was so strong I had to sweeten it (and I couldn't sleep at night!). I've now learnt to cut down the dose to half, as it's so powerful you don't need more (that's also great as it means the same tin will last me double the time!)Unexpectedly good (and I’ve been to Japan a few times and tried some really premium matcha products), would definitely recommend and will buy again, as well as give their higher grade matcha a try at some point.

I’ve been on the hunt for a new matcha since the brand I loved (….Chimp) seemed to have been discontinued. It took me ages to decide, but seeing the good reviews and that it was Prime Day, I purchased this one.All in all, I feel a bit disappointed. It’s not bad, and I think it would be good for a newbie. As someone who is a daily matcha latte drinker, I felt this one was slightly lacking in flavour - almost like a dulled down version of what it should be. Once it was mixed with milk or water, I could hardly taste it. The colour of the tea itself is good and vibrant, but I also found it a little harder than my previous brand to mix/dissolve so could be a bit clumpy which is disappointing for the hype and price of the brand.If you’re new to matcha, and happy to pay the expensive price tag, I think it’s worth it. But it might not be the one for experienced drinkers. Maybe the higher grade is better?I definitely wouldn’t buy again, and definitely not at full price for the amount you get.

I previously bought the AAA Grade and I only got 21 servings. However, the Grade AA gave me 32 servings, despite me using the same official OMGTEA measuring spoon. Very odd!
