Lovely lampshade with a sparkly tint. However, the lampshade, WHICH IS SOLD TOGETHER WITH the lamp base, is TOO BIG and slides off the stick!I was hoping to have the lamp ready in situ after arrival (as a surprise for my daughter) but am now having to source a lampshade circular inner in order for the lampshade to fit the stick which it was bought with......not impressed really, particularly as the whole point of buying the shade and stick suggests they are compatible....

This shade has a slightly gold thread through it and a sheen so I wouldn't call it 'white' as described - saying that, it looks nice. However the ring is much larger than expected and didn't fit any of the lamps I purchased it for. I had to fashion a more appropriately sized hole which was annoying and why I have only given this 3 stars.

Although the fabric is good this shade ring fitting is too large for my lamps. It needs an adapter ring, but the ones I have don't fit this shade.UPDATE to earlier 3 star review: The vendor went out of his way to find the right size adapters and to post them to me. Excellent customer service, excellent product.

I returned it back

These arrived in good time but I returned them as they had a definite sheen/sparkle to them that was not obvious in the picture.

Very nice quality. You'll need the ring adapter to fit side lamps.
