thanks, wikihow!
UPDATE: I ended up using a wikihow tutorial to "unclog" my pen's nib and it writes like a dream now! hooray!! I'm so happy, I really missed having my favorite fountain pen to write with all the time.---My friend bought me one of these fountain pens from a local bookstore and I fell in love. For over a year, I wrote with it, buying several orders worth of replacement ink and having zero issues. Tragically, I lost it so I ended up buying another one from Amazon. I've gone through two ink carts by now and it still just has never written as smoothly or consistently as my old pen.

Attractive and easy to write with!
I have always loved writing with a fountain pen. Finding different colored ink cartridges is fun, too!

Writes a Heavy Line
I first purchased the set of 8 “Color Write” Ooly fountain pens, and enjoyed the fine line of color each one dispensed. A black one would nicely complete the set, but this pen is very different. In a standard notebook, the color pens don’t bleed through the page, but this black pen shows through the paper. It writes a heavier, thicker line.

Love ❤️ They don’t smear and they’re fabulous!!
They do go dry and you have to shake them but overall they’re pretty fabulous.

Great Product- Make it a Cart Edition not a Sole Buy
I LOVE this pen. It's a mix of old school/new school. It ALWAYS writes smoothly and based on the pressure you provide from thin to think lines. I love how the refillable cartridges are inexpensive. It never "dies" randomly while writing other pens. I would say the only downfall is you pay equal enough of shipping to get he item if you buy it alone. However if you need to kill $5 or so it's a great free shipping item to your cart to get you to that $25 threshold for free shipping. Highly recommend.

Very pleased with this purchase, highly recommend it
Was sorta "iffy" about getting this pen because it was pretty cheap. This is my second fountain pen so I'm still new with them. The first pen I spent around $40 and it instantly started not working right. This new pen I'm hooked on ! It dispenses the perfect amount of ink, it doesn't leak, and it's light weight !! I highly recommend this little gem.

Really comfortable, fantastic value
I'v got at least 30 fountain pens of varying age and quality, and this one has immediately shot up to the top of my list. For my taste, the nib is just right. It has enough give to make it comfortable, but not enough to make it sloppy. The barrel is smooth and nicely sized for an average hand. The finger grip is comfortable. The lid snaps shut firmly, the parts screw together securely, and the ink hasn't leaked even a little bit. While I have many bottles of ink, I've been using the OOLY cartridges as well, and the ink is good too. Bright, opaque, smooth - looks good on the page. The only thing to bear in mind is that this is an inexpensive pen. If you were hoping for a tortoise-shell finish with a high end nib, you probably want to look above this price point. The plastic is nice, shiny and smooth, but it is plastic. It could be snapped in half without a ton of effort. It's under $10!If you're new to fountain pens, this is a nice one to start with. If you find they are not for you, then at least you tried a decent one and didn't spend a lot of money. If you want a pen to use everyday and not worry about wear and tear, this one isn't very delicate and is inexpensive to replace.Highly recommend.

Nice cheap fountain pen
For the price, you can't go wrong. The fountain pen works well, and the cartridges are cheap enough. The ink quality/density is OK, but there's a little more resistance when writing. This is good for people who like fountain pens, since there's more control to the handwriting stroke.I left this pen for a month, capped, and when I returned to it, all I had to do was rinse the nib in running water (under the tap) and I was good to go. The ink did not harden in the nib, which can happen with many cheap fountain pens that don't cap tightly enough.I bought spare ink cartridges as this one only ships with two. I believe that standard cartridges will fit this pen, so no need to go out of your way to buy these if you need better ink. I've tried them with my Cross fountain pen cartridges and a cheap Parker pen that I have and they fit.4-stars overall. But that's only because it does feel a bit cheap.

Cheap Quality but High Comfort
For the ~$12 CAD I paid for it, it's not my cheapest pen (Jinhao's) but it sure feels the cheapest. The plastic is incredibly thin developing cracks in the cap from when it's in the posted position, as well as near the screw threading. I don't anticipate this pen lasting very long. But it is definitely the most comfortable pen to use and has an amazing nib. I use "J Herbin Ink - Éclat de Saphir" ink with the pen and it's an amazing match on cheap printer paper. It doesn't bleed through, shows off a nice blue colour, and is very smooth. The original ink did bleed through a little, but it was really not bad. The rubber grip is fantastic as well as the shape of the barrel.Another issue I've had with it is that it will occasionally leak (leaked around 5 times in the month I've used owned and used it). I've noticed that sometimes ink is on the inside of the cap when I carry it around, with ink also sometimes getting onto the pen grip.Would I buy it again? Maybe, for less then $10 CAD. Would I gift it to an adult? Absolutely not. A child? Maybe as well.

Now This is a Fountain Pen Worth Buying!
Anyone who knows me, knows that I'm picky about my fountain pens. The nib has to be right, the feel has to be right in the hand.I didn't expect much (see my review of the Zebra V-301).I was very pleasantly surprised to get a good flow of ink, a good feel in the hand and two refill cartridges. For what really could be classed as a "disposable" fountain pen, this is the best one at its price point that I have encountered.

Surprisingly good
If it is left a week, requires running a bit of water over the nib then blotting/writing until it starts running again - at least for the black I got. I see they doubled the price though, which is too bad. It is also good for that not so good paper which confounds ball point pens.
