Q: can someone tell me exact things to put in each bottle and what i do exactly? i cant read the instructions and i have lost them so sorry

Henry, the instruction are written in Chinese, so you have to rely on the schematic (or find a Chinese friend to help you). Basically it is this:Dissolve 200 g of citric acid in 600 mL water in bottle A. - Add 200 g soda to 200 mL water in bottle B. Then connect the bottles as shown in the schematic. To start the CO2 production, squeeze liquid out of bottle A (this has pressure gauge) into bottle B. This will then release CO2 (be careful as to not to produce the CO2 gas to quickly).A personal note: I use this equipment to produce CO2 via fermentation, by using 250 g sugar and 2 tea spoons of baker's yeast). You have 3 options: 1) Leave it the way it is, and add an air stone at night to diffuse O2 to counter the co22) Close the co2 slightly (not too much if pressure is high, it will build up all night) 3) Or just take the co2 diffuser out of the tank so the co2 is not going in the tank at night but in the air @vince Pena

Q: what bubble rate are you useing and how long does it generally last?

I do 1 bubble per second and it lasts me a week. I'm doing 200 ml + 200 gm soda to 600ml water + 200 gm acid. You still have to use the CO2 indicator to make sure that you have the right CO2 concentration.

Q: Is it possible to use glass soda bottles?

Two issues- 1. Glass bottles dont have threads like the plastic 2L so you wouldnt be able to properly screw this on. You cant build pressure without an airtight seal. You also can't squeeze glass and start the vacuum to pull the mixtures together.2. Can the bottle withstand the pressure inside of it. You would need to use a conversion calculator to figure out the the max psi capacity of the bottle. I believe it would be the size of the bottle + temp+ volume =psi. When I was leaving this on constantly I never really went above 14psi, but when I shut it off at night pressure would rise in the bottle and I would sometimes see 35psi. It's probably cheaper, easier, safer to just pick up (2) 2L bottles.
