I experienced these herbal massage balls as part of a full Thai massage at the Thai Massage room in Dalbeattie. They are absolutely wonderful! They get heated up in steam until they are hot and damp - they feel quite heavy - and then she quickly pats your back (or neck, or..) with them. Sometimes whe will put them in a particular place and leave them there for a while. The effect is very relaxing - they work as pain relief and smell lovely too! The only reason I gave this product four stars instead of five is that ideally somebody else does it for you. Noi assures me you can use them on your own, but it would be difficult to reach some parts of your back by yourself and I think to get the full effect you need somebody else to help you. Or even better, go for a Thai massage...
