For what this is and what you need it for (and pay for it), there really is no reason not to give it 5 stars. I would even recommend getting multiple if you have the need to purchase one.My only regret is that we didn't get one sooner for my son, who frequently gets sick...so we dealt with a lot of messes in the past before this simple idea crossed our minds and has simplified our lives and lessened laundry.I don't know if the basin is big enough to hold larger "volumes" such as adults can sometimes produce, but that is to be assessed individually.One final note...the color is actually a ligher turquoise-style blue and doesn't look too bad sitting out, definitely more aesthetically pleasing to the eye than a beige, white, or one of the hospital-yellow ugly colored ones.

This after a recent trip to the ER for my 3 year old. She had a seizure and were trying to figure out the source of the high fever. They suspected an ear infection but couldn't see her right ear drum due to a bunch o'funky stuff in her ear. They flushed it out and used one of these things to catch all the yuck so I bought one for home. I have also used this to catch retention balls when putting in body jewelry in my ears. Those little stainless steel balls are impossible to find if you drop one. In between actual uses, my 3 year old uses it for her ponies to take a drink. Hey...whatever floats her boat. Well made, sturdy. Probably has a million more uses than catching ear funk.

Love it this is so useful in so many things in the sick room it isn’t funny.

Very useful for helping an invalid with teeth brushing. I assume it works for other functions. I stick mine in the dishwasher every couple of days since I don't have an autoclave handy in my bathroom!

It's bigger and certainly more substantial than the one they give you in the hospital. I felt very comfortable evening with my mom when she was bed bound and vomiting.

Item is larger than I expected although the measurements are clearly listed in the description. This is a very nice item, the price was extremely economical and, the best part, it is Made in the USA.
