Ordered mine from TekDepo and it had a bundle of fully licensed applications ready to go (Office, CS6 Suite, Final Cut Pro). I replaced a 32gb blade SSD part of the Fusion drive in my Late 2015 iMac 27in 5K with this 512gb one. With iOS already installed on this drive, it booted right up. I'm assuming it will work on any logic board with the proprietary apple m.2 slot.I wanted to be efficient while I had the iMac opened on the table, as they're not fun to take apart, so at the same time I removed and replaced the 1tb mechanical HDD with a 1tb Samsung Evo SSD for storage. No more Fusion drive and no more noisy/slow/hot mechanical hard drive. It's so nice to have a 512gb dedicated blade SSD drive for iOS and apps and a separate drive for storage. It's expensive, yes, but for creative professionals, it's worth the extra efficiency. Very very happy with this purchase.

It works fine for the Macbook Pro A1502 (early 2015) and Time Machine backup from an SATA to USB SDD. After restoring the OS High Sierra image, everything is very good. The problem for the US vendor is to find a way to deliver in Europe via Amazon UK / Germany / etc., in order to have a competitive price taking into account the lack of the free exchange regulations framework between US and EU (30% of the price were custom taxes between US and EU). Of course, always, there is China solution for half of the price as alternative, although the one might not get a genuine reliable product using those vendors.

My computer is up and running like new again. Easy to instal with the right tools and well packaged. Has some marks on it but did not affect the quality. Happy I saved a ton installing it myself.

Lost my laptop because of defective drive.
