The good: it clings well (even though I had to ...
I bought this item as a solution to a privacy problem I was having living in a downstairs apartment with a cat who loves in the window. The good: it clings well (even though I had to install in the winter when manufacturer recommends warmer weather for installation) and you can't see through it, even close up. The bad: the stripe pattern goes with the short way (12" side) on the roll instead of the long way. I needed the lines to run horizontal so that the would run the same direction as the horizontal blinds in the window (not vertical blinds) because I never intended to cover the top window panes, just the bottom ones on two windows. This means that I had to do a lot more tedious matching the lines during instillation than if they had run the other direction. Also, my windows seem pretty standard size, but there was only enough on this roll to cover the bottom glass of one window.

Privacy with light! Easy diy
Love this product! Arrived on time, and was very easy to apply. the results were very nice. Directions were easy to understand. We did a large patio slider and because of the size needed two hands to apply or hold while the other was smoothing it out. Once applied to the glass, it stayed on well. So far, it has not fallen down. Looks great from both sides, lets some light in but with all the privacy you need. would purchase again!

Great way to let natural light shine while maintaining privacy
I bought this so I can let natural light into my bedroom without giving the whole neighborhood a view of inside my house (you look at our house while driving into our neighborhood). The process was the same as applying tint to a car window, wet with water & baby soap mixture, apply film and squeegee out excess moisture. Both lines are opague, you cannot see through your window at all from either side once film is applied, however you can definitely see shadows if an object is close enough.

Great product for privacy
I used the product on the lower half of a bay window and bedroom window on the road side of our lake cottage. Wanted privacy but still wanted to be able to look outside without having to open and close honeycomb blinds. Looks like blinds from street and looks great inside as well. I like it more than I thought I would.

3" wasted
company has their sticker on film I am finding it impossible to peel their sticker off so will waste about 3" of the film.
