I got this for my mom's phone, because her original battery had swelled up over time. This replacement works great and lasts a lot longer than her old battery, which of course had issues.

EDIT / UPDATE:This battery does fit the UM696CL phone, Replacing the UBT2300 Battery. (very difficult to find without buying broken old stock phones off Ebay, hoping to get an included battery)I took a chance this battery 'might' not fit the phone, and bought 2 of these anyway.(bought 1 with overnight shipping (extra $2.99). Bought a 2nd with 2 day Prime shipping. Both arrived "on time" as promised)PERFORMANCE NOTES:After a few days of1. an initial full charge (with phone turned off), and2. full discharge, followed by3. repeat full charges & discharges.I can more or less attest that the battery works the same as the UBT2300 batteries. It doesn't seem to work better or worse than the UBT2300. But it provides roughly the same usage times as noted in the following paragraph. One slight performance difference would be that these newly purchased batteries don't seem to charge as fast WHILE plugged in during continuous use.Anyone using the UMX U696CL knows that a fully charged battery will give you 60-90 minutes 4G signal minutees while playing Youtube, Rumble or similar podcasts (and that's with low screen brightness). And then if on Wifi, one can expect 'maybe' 120+ minutes of continuous phone use, depending on factors like screen brightness, running addl apps, etc.I have multiple batteries for this UMX handset, which I try to keep charged just in case. (useful to have multiple batteries if having to travel, sit in waiting rooms for hours, etc. ) And I have several 10' extension cords around the house ready to plug in. (and in the bathroom to plug in while showering / shaving)It's a bit of a chore to keep this phone at-the-ready with fully charged batteries. But multiple batteries & multiple extension cords seems to work as well as possible.(most of my family & friends with 12-24 hr batteries never seem to keep their phones charged. )At $12-$15, this battery is a good value overall / compared to what else is out there.

Even following its let discharge and recharge after a week its failing to charge...even trying two different chargers"improved" Not

If you need this battery... Get it this brand is pretty good.
