used this at the airport (near an aircraft yes) and with the rubber plug ins it drowned out the noise of a jet engine so yes I think it can handle less noisy things 😂, used without the plug ins to hear what people were saying to me, granted we still have to yell at each other.also used in a studio with loud music and same results - with plug in great noise reduction; without plug in conversation levelswhile driving (without plug in) drowned out most noise to a nice white noise, still heard the ambulance siren to move away for though 🙂its comfy to sleep in as well unless your housemates are having a masterchef remake in your bedroom at 1 amyou dont even feel it there but personally I dont like having something in my ear for long time so I dont use it 24/7 but from what I used I dont think it will bother you if you use it for long periods of timeall in alldidnt trust it at first, tried it, loves ita tiiiny detail, one white rubber plug in came with a sliiiight tear, doesnt affect usability but now that I saw it I cant unsee it kinda bother so 🤷‍♀️

Bought my loops a month ago to test them properly, here are my 2 centsI'm very sensitive to sounds - shopping in a mall or taking a public transportation was a nightmare without earphones and music on. I started getting tired of it recently, as permanent background hum mixed with constant music blasting into my ears was distracting and tiring. Decided to try these - now I can't imagine myself visiting a public place without them. However, I still have to remove one to hear someone talking to me clearly. I often go out alone, so that's not a problem; but if I'm with my friends - wearing them is not an option. They do have slight earphone effect - I can hear my breathing,heartbeat, but personally I don't mind.

The earplugs come with multiple ear fittings so should for most ear shapes. Comfortable to wear and easy to clean and store

I think these earplugs work perfectly for light sound dampening and help with focusing on work! There are many plug sizes and an additional noise canceling white ring to insert in with the loops. They are comfortable to sleep in and didn’t fall out even though I thrash around in my sleep a lot. You can still hear conversations right in front of you, but not in the next room over. The case is also perfectly fine and works well.

Son un salva vidas. Vivo en una ciudad muy ruidosa así que han resultado maravillosos para el transporte público, especialmente cuando voy acompañada porque puedo escuchar la conversación. En general son cómodos sobre todo porque no sobresalen aunque al paso de varias horas ya pueden llegar a incomodar un poco, pero para mi, sigue siendo mucho más tolerable que el ruido. También tuve oportunidad de probarlos en un concierto y fue maravilloso, por primera vez disfruté realmente la música, la multitud fue más sencilla de tolerar y no tuve tinitus después del concierto por primera vez. ¡Los amo!

I have trouble filtering out background noise: refrigerators, fans, computer fans...I hear it all. It doesn't distract me, but when I speak I'm often too loud (since I'm talking over all of the noise I hear).The Loop Engage earplugs seemed like what I need, reducing some of the din while allowing voices to still be heard. I decided to go with the Engage Plus to get the extra foam eartips and the mutes.I first tried them with the foam tips in a busy restaurant, and they really helped. My companions' voices were muffled, but I still found it easier to hear them than I normally would. I was also able to talk to the waitress without any trouble. On the flip side, I was speaking much more quietly than I normally do--to the extent that I actually had to speak up a few times. That NEVER happens. Usually you can hear me across a crowded room, even when I'm trying to be quiet.I found the foam tips a little hard on my ears, so I switched to the silicone tips. They seem to put less pressure on my ears, but I won't know until I've had the earplugs for awhile. I'll keep switching until I find the most comfortable fit.At home, I put the mutes in and the extra -5DB was easily noticeable. I don't think I'd need them very often, but I like the option. I also like that you get two sets of mutes (white and black). If I buy a second pair of Loops, I can just get the regular ones and use the spare mutes with them.It's really easy to put the earplugs in, because the ring is so easy to hold and twist. That can be a challenge with some earbud headphones. It's also easy to put the mutes in when the earplugs are already in my ears, which is great when I want a little more isolation. I can also take the mutes out without removing the earplugs, but it's a little trickier.I've read that the little carrying case opens too easily. In contrast, I find that mine is hard to open. In any case, the clasp could be better. I might find a replacement case just to be safe.Overall, I'm really pleased with the Loop Engage Plus. If you don't need the mutes and are fine with silicone eartips, I'd probably recommend the less-expensive Engage earplugs.

Very good for people with sound sensitivity... It provides a little sound reduction but doesn't cut off, which I prefer than blocking the sound completely.. Good to wear during daily activities, noisy places, on roads, in public.. It's very comfortable and I cannot feel it while wearing once I figured out how to wear it and what size buds to wear... I'm using different bud on each ear, small in one and medium in one.. I've tried many options for sound reduction but this is the best one. Easy to wear while sitting or laying down.

J'ai acheté ces bouchons d'oreilles car je suis très sensible au brouhaha, et le bruit me dérange beaucoup dans les transports en Commun par exemple ou je m'en sers beaucoup. Ils sont bien adaptables en fonction de la taille des conduits auditifs, confortables, bloquent assez bien les bruits ambiants parasites, mais permettent quand même d'entendre une personne qui nous parle par exemple. Ils sont discrets et sont toujours accrochés avec mes clefs, je les emmène partout. Ils se limitent à un usage quotidien classique par contre, ils ne sont pas suffisants pour une grosse convention en intérieur avec beaucoup de monde par exemple.
