I have had this unit for a few months and it began rusting a few weeks after it arrived. Obviously there is humidity in a habitat so I'm not sure how the manufacturer expects this product to last.

You have to put this item together. It's glass so I did have a couple of chipped corners but they were deep enough down into the bottom they aren't too noticeable. It's fine for the cost you pay but I would have likes to not have chipped corners. We will live with it though.

I needed a new tank for my almost 40 year old box turtle . His old tank had stress cracks from old age and under the tank heaters. I purchased a front opening tank from a different company that was Beautiful also,But I did not like the obstructed view from all the lines in front of the tank for the openings etc. I could not see him from across the room . So I ordered this one instead . Its just Perfect ! Clean lines , I Love how the screen opens from the top and is attached . No need for a separate screen . Excellent Quality . It took my husband like 20 minutes to put together . Looks like its floating on top of the cabinet it sits . My Bart also is Happy in his new environment. This would be a great tank for lizards or frogs also. Very happy with purchase.
