Great little scale
Does the job well, good battery life. Accurate readings for coffee dosing have even become the kitchen scales too

Accurate, and long lasting
I've had these scales for about 4 months now, and I've charged the once in that time. They're accurate, consistent, and easy to use. I do wish they were a little bit more compact so they'd fit under my Bambino Plus a bit better, but other than that, they're absoltuely fine.

Excellent value!
I was going to buy the £45 Timemore scales when I noticed this product with very similar features at a much more appealing price. Here are my findings after a week in use.Pros- measures to 0.1g precision. This is great when you are looking for consistency and the ability to fine tune the taste by increasing or lowering the coffee dose- built in timer than can be started manually or automatically when you start pouring your water over the coffee in Aeropress or V60 etc This is excellent- tare function working well so far- USB charging. I like the lack of traditional batteries.- good battery life. Has lasted over a week of brewing 3 or 4 coffees a day and is still going, so no complaints here- removable rubber coverCons- weight can fluctuate after measuring by .1or .2g- the timer stops when I take my Aeropress off the scales to swirl whilst brewing and I have to start it again, this is annoying- I would have preferred buttons you can actually feel as opposed to built into the display- the display is a dust magnet and shows off your fingerprints- the rubber cover is difficult to clean due to the groovesConclusionWhilst not perfect let's not forget this is only £14 and at that price I am more than happy to live with its little quirks. An excellent VFM proposition.

Great, but battery warning should come earlier
Love this scale. It's made my coffee way more consistent. The only drawback is you get a battery low warning light when it is about to die in 1 min. I wish it would give the warning with at least 5 mins left.Every time it goes I lose power mid brew. But other than that it's great! I use it everyday and charge once every 2-3 months.

Great value for Money
Work as well as more expensive options. Work in a cafe with expensive scales and I use these at home. Really happy with the functionality and build quality

We like(d) these scales a lot- but they’re now in the BIN over their battery-life: sad huh?
We like( these scales a lot and they’re dead-simple to use.Their only and minor annoyance (so far!) is that the battery-LO light allows for so VERY little time before the whole thing goes dead - it gives only a few seconds notice. This means that the LO warning can come on half-way through a brew/pour and then the whole thing shuts down a few seconds later - and well before its timing-job is done. Annoying, huh?Bagail suggest that, used for 10 mins a day, a charge should last for about 30 days=300 minutes. Our approx 10 mins a day (only 2-3 big cups at breakfast and then carefully switched off) lasts for about 10 days=100 minutes ... if we're lucky. And then on comes the 'LO' battery-warning and, a few seconds later, total shut-down halfway through a brew! But good nonetheless and GREAT at its price.PS1. 3 weeks after I wrote the above we're now down to 8 days of charge used for the same 10 mins a day and only about 5 seconds if we're lucky between 'LO' and dead! The minor annoyance is getting major!PS2. 4 months after purchase and still used for the same approx. 10 minutes a day, this OTHERWISE-EXCELLENT scale is now down to holding its charge for approx 3 days … so for 30 minutes as against Bagail’s claimed 300 minutes! So presumably it will be down to DEAD quite soon … and so into the bin and we’ll have to try and find something more reliable. A pity ‘cos it’s GREAT while it works. But its boring battery issues have made us go down to 2 stars, no doubt out of annoyance! But maybe it should be less, maybe even only 1 star?(If Bagail can get their whole scale so VERY well worked-out, why can't they solve silly little things like the battery?! Or is ours just a rogue 'Friday-afternoon' one?)The battery-charge now lasting ONE BREAKFAST if we’re lucky, it’s now gone IN THE BIN. A pity ‘cos it was good while it lasted!

Honestly, not bad
Not bad at all. It looks good, it works well. The fact that it’s rechargeable via USB isn’t an issue for me and I actually prefer it that way.Battery life could have been better though. I weight coffee once, maybe twice every day for a total “on” time of maybe 10 minutes top and it lasts a couple of weeks before I have to charge it again, but it beats having to deal with disposable batteries.

Be careful if using on espresso machine
I have a sage bambino. First this scale is larger than the part of the machine where you place your cup. Then when on the machine it never goes to 0 so you can’t ever know how many grams of espresso you have got from one pulled shot. It’s probably a good scale, but for use with smaller espresso machines, it’s slightly useless to me. There are other smaller ones that ‘do what they’re told’ when placed underneath a cup on the machine.
