Haven't tested an outdoor wall, but I don't see why not if everything is connected properly. I was surprised at how clear and bright the picture was when projected on the stand up screen in the hotel dining reception room, especially considering lights were up. I think it would do just as well as any other projector I've seen, considering the price!
