My grumpy mad lickable destroyer and his ray of unfiltered sunshine …loved these these two
This will probably not surprise you, but I am a tad infatuated with the Unseelie King…and no it has nothing to do with his totally lickable cover, although that kind of eye candy certainly helps, but he himself is totally lickable. I am just as infatuated with him as she is. I love his no-nonsense attitude, he’s a total grumpy pants and he owns it. I mean they call him The Destroyer. He also knows what he wants, knows how to get it, with no apologies, no excuses, just him being him. So I love me some grumpy mad lickable destroyer…MINE…I said what I said, winks. She’s the Seer sister, Augusta, of June’s from book one. I love that when she first met him, she’s the one that kissed him. She was so funny, and an unfiltered ray of sunshine for sure. They were both funny. The scene when he shows her her room that the staff designed for her…I laughed out loud, and couldn’t stop…hilarious. And she may or may not have yelled out the window some private stuff about her and the King, thinking they were alone…yeah, they weren’t and when she comes downstairs to see him…she finds out.…it was hilarious. These two were one of my favorite couples, and definitely one of my favorite hers books, I just couldn’t get enough of them.Safe read with my grumpy mad lickable destroyer and his unfiltered ray of sunshine virgin. Great storyline, with all the hilarious Milana Jacks humor that I love. A pink room with blue unicorns and a sexy pic of my unseelie king on the ceiling, yeah you read that right…just picture that for a hot second, a got lucky scream, only to find out that the house that is normally empty had people there and heard what you screamed, blushing, and magical house staff that happen to be objects, I mean this is quite the fairytale, throw in the lickable unseelie king, and I am one smittenly happy girl. Got to see our favorites from book one, including my personal favorite El’jah (pretty sure he’s everyone’s favorite), and gained some new ones. Fae-ted mate hea. Total book crack series. Need the next book please, and thank you.

Odd story.....not sure if I like it or not.....
This is just an strange story, granted I haven't read the others that are connected tothis series....I'm not sure of I like it or not. I had to force myself to finish this. I normally like fantasy based romance stories, this one is just weird. You can definitely connect the story to "a beauty and the beast" connection. There are some really great elements to this story. This portion of the story ended well. I would advise you to read whatever comes before this in the storyline. There is definitely more to this that should be coming out in additional novels....

What a fun read!
This one was quick, but so much fun. The story was well executed with terrific characters. And some of the lines were absolutely hysterical. I hardly remember reading June’s story (I read hundreds of books a year) but I’d flagged this to read and I’m so glad I did.

Mmmm mmm mmm
What a man the Uniseelie King is.I read the first one and absolutely loved it, this one is even better. It has hints of a Beauty and a Beast tale, my favorite fairytale. This one left me feeling that vibe I have no words for after you've read a good book. Where you lay or sit there holding the closed book with all sorts of positive thoughts and feelings. I didn't want to get up. I wanted more, still do. This story has reached my top favorite reads list. I think I'm going to have to reread this one. I don't do that often.I really enjoy this authors writing, how bold she is with the characters. I'm going to check out the rest of her books.

Not bad, not great.
The storyline is decent. Nothing earth shattering. But a lot of the dialogue was too cheesy for me, and the spelling errors in the book (even spelling Emishi's name wrong one out of two times in the span of two paragraphs....). So I found that distracting.

Awesome!!!
This was such a lovely surprise! Not the typical fae book at all! She was a real treat! Strong and FUNNY! I laughed so many times in this story, the author certainly has a unique sense of humor! It was nice to read such a strong hero that wasn't a brooding ass, lol, and a funny, quirky, eclectic heroine that actually had power and wasn't a shrinking virgin! This was a really fun and sexy read with lots of surprises! I would definitely read other books by this author!😍🩷🩷🩷

Fine Reading!!
This is by far the best book Ms. Jacks has written! It is a wholly unexpected love story with a woman who learns who she is and thrives. The Unseeelie king is a marvelous character with so many facets. Enjoyed this book immensely.

Grumpy Sunshine/Dark Fae Could Not Put It Down Romance
OMG this is my favorite Fae book of 2023! I did not read Book 1 and I do read series out of order or just pick and choose so I can't say much as a series but THIS BOOK WAS AWESOME!He was deliciously dark, angsty, and with a wicked sense of humor. I was LOLing when he stoll the Seelie King's bathing shorts and then just whipped it off. I admit, I was thinking Jason Momoa through the whole thing with that naughty murder muffin vibe of please let me kill them for you honey. And Augusta was a joy to read. This was so Hades and Persephone in that he's this dark feared King who lives in the shadows and here's this now former farm girl now a seer who stands up to him in delightful ways. And alkjd;akdjdkl they are sizzling hot together! There is of course the proverbial black moment when they are separated and it is so well done. I did say this is very Persephone / Hades hot romance and they do get their HEA. Oh yes, it also has some very Beauty and the Beast moments that will leave you delighted. I will be re-reading this one I loved it so much.

5 stars
In my opinion, this book is even better than the first. The Unseelie King is something else for sure. And the 🌶🌶🌶🌶!!! enjoyed their romance from start to finish.

Would be a 5 star if
There weren't so many repeat paragraphs the book needs editing again. Other than that, I loved the story and loved the characters.

Another great read
When I read the first book , I didn't know there would be a second one and left a review that I'd love to see what happens to the sisters. Now that Augusta's story is out, I can only say a big thank you! It did not disappoint - another great read, that kept my imagination occupied late in the night. I really hope there will be more in the series, this world is so captivating and I'm so invested in the characters and the storyline.

Difficult to love the main man
It was difficult to get into this book. The main male character wasn’t particularly nice, no real redeeming features, and the terminology took a while to work out.
