Beautiful pictures. Nice thick paper. Clean easy to read font.

I really like this book overall and think the quality of the photographs and everything are amazing, however the book came to me with warped pages and it looks damaged

O livro é excelente, mas veio com a parte de baixo amassada.

I bought this as an update to the 2001 version so that I can have more recent information, species numbers and the latest research.It is a beautiful book with lots of nice photos and crammed wih info. Unfortunately it has a lot of mistakes and I have spotted many incorrect facts about the animals (I'm a zoologist).This is a shame because it means kids and people are getting the wrong information about animals. I also spotted English mistakes too. I would guess it was rushed or whoever edited it doesn't know that much about animals.Overall a lovely book but the errors are very disappointing. I would still recommend it as a good introduction to the animal kingdom though.

I mean look at the photos… do I need to say more! Is a great book for information if a lot if different animals. Goes in to a decent amount of detail, definitely get this book!
