Item: "GriMed NAC Supplement N-Acetyl Cysteine 14,233mg - High Purity with Quercetin, Milk Thistle for Lung, Liver and Immune Support (90 Count (Pack of 1))"~I got this to offset some of the negative liver/health impact of occasionally having alcohol; I've been taking it every day, but - in case anyone else wants it for the same reason - on days that you drink, my understanding is that you should have it before and definitely not after.Other than that... I haven't noticed any negative effects or reactions from taking it.In the bottle, it has a cinnamon-y, earthy smell - almost a little like coffee, maybe (but not in a bad way). I don't know if it has a taste or not, because I take capsules with something carbonated and/or flavored so I don't get the 'capsule lodged in throat' feeling that happens if I use plain water.The bottle came with plastic wrapped around the outside of the lid and a tamper seal under the cap.The one I got in July 2023 expires in May 2026.

It's a great formula if you know for sure how much selenium you're getting, but the selenium levels in this really worry me. IMHO, selenium shouldn't be allowed in supplements that aren't either multivitamins or pure selenium, the reason being that it's far too easy to receive a toxic overdose. The recommended serving of these pills has almost half a toxic dose in it. Take 4 a day instead of 2 and you could be in trouble, or if you're unknowingly getting selenium from other supplements, or if you're getting it from your well water or local agricultural products. Good supplement, just be wary. I feel like it's only a matter of time before the trend of adding selenium to all kinds of supplement formulas catches up to the industry and starts causing problems.

These have vitamins I have been using to help my immune system heal but they also seem to help my mind stay alert during caregiving.

A bunch of ingredients, but not enough of any to make a real difference. Worst of all promising free product for review but then don't deliver

The ingredients in this product are a good combination to help with immune function. The recommended 2 daily should help during these volatile times where extra immune function is essential. The added milk thistle is nice for liver support.

I'm not a doctor, so I can't tell you if this is actually working or if there's a placebo effect, but I think it's working. I feel a little more alert and don't get sick like I have with other supplements.

Since you can only post certain things in these reviews, all I can say is that the product is as expected, no disappointment.

I am a believer in NAC and for my body I have seen a difference. That being said I prefer it to be buy itself and not with milk thistle or Quercetin. But if you are looking for something with those 5is should work, but for me I prefer it by itself.
