Olives Et Al Pitted Kalamata Black Olives 250 g (Pack of 3)

We've been buying olives from Amazon because it seems to be the only way we can get them in olive oil. This brand however is very disappointing & we won't buy it again. The olives are soft &, although edible, seem as if they have been picked & potted when overripe.

I don't know if it was just a one-off but the skins of my olives were tough. I chewed and chewed and they just wouldn't disintegrate. I had to spit them out eventually. I also found the herb flavouring too strong for my liking.

Kalamata olives have a unique taste (especially good in salads and on pizza!) and this is a quality product at a decent price.

If you like kalamata olives then you'll enjoy these ones too. The infused olive oil complements them very well. The oil can be used in salads instead of the regular olive oil.

I have bought these before and will again. Not too salty like some brands.

Delicious kalamata olives without colouring and additives. The oil left when the olives have all gone (only too quickly) is great for cooking and dressings. Yummy!

Years ago, Kalamata olives used to be predominately black. Nowadays, brown. Does this indicate that they are picked unripe?
