I put this QIACHIP smart bulb socket on a 150‑watt LED porch light above my front door, and it worked perfectly on the first try. The eWeLink app paired in about three taps, joined my 2.4 GHz network, and popped right into Google Home without any extra steps. Now the light comes on automatically at dusk, turns off when the security cameras switch to infrared, and even changes colors with an "intruder" automation I created. I keep thinking that more companies should offer a solution this simple instead of pushing whole new fixtures.Let’s clear up the complaints you might see in the reviews: some folks gripe that it works only on a 2.4 GHz connection. That requirement is printed in bold on the product page and spelled out again in the quick‑start guide and again on the app. If you ignore that and try to force it onto 5 GHz, the failure is on you, not the device. Follow the instructions, stay on 2.4 GHz, and it pairs in under a minute. Regarding the complaints about the app, it sounds like most of the negative reviewers simply don't have a firm grasp on technology. The app is very basic and easy to understand.The hardware handles the high wattage without a hiccup, schedules commence exactly when they should, and voice commands respond instantly. I will be buying a couple more for other outdoor lights because this little adapter turns any standard socket into a fully automated part of my Google ecosystem.

Have been using these a few weeks for lamps in our bedroom and they work great. They were easy to connect and setup, they've stayed connected, and they activate with Google home very very fast. Way better than the old eufy one we have in the living room, and in fact I'm back here ordering a second set to replace that.

This is a ridiculous product and a waste of your money, time, and effort.You are asked to install their app. Okay -- Done.Then to begin the discovery process you are supposed to click the "+" sign in the lower part of the app. NO PLUS SIGN EXISTS.it tries to force you to logon to an account with credentials you DO NOT HAVE.There is no known way to create an account to get past the login screen.There is a Feedback section where you can submit a request for HELP.... But submission is limited to 300 characters AND it fails to send. EVER!!It is impossible to use this app to pair their product with your wifi and WHEN (not IF) you expeerience problems, there is no way to reach them.Unless you enjoy spinning in circles and being caught in a Catch 22, then stay as far away from this junk product as you can.MINE is going back to Amazon after I write this review.I cannot emphasize enough what GARBAGE this product is.

Has its own on off switch when I don't have my phone, great price 15.99 for 2 and they fit in tight places

I don’t think it was super easy to connect but I'm not the most tech savvy, I got it eventually- however, I'm still trying to schedule the time on and off, everyday, the same times. While I’ve read and watched the videos it’s not making sense to me and i’m somewhat perplexed that it’s not easy based on the reviews I read beforehand. I’ll update my stars on the review once Im able to use it correctly as I think they’ll be awesome!
