I chose the black and white dog, and he has an adorable, yellow bow tie on his chest.The remote control takes two AA batteries, and the dog uses a rechargeable battery set. I wish you could plug the charging cable directly into the dog rather than having to unscrew and take out the battery for charging each time. It took the battery approximately two hours for the indicator light to show that it was fully charged for the first use. I liked that everything came with the dog and was ready to go, so I did not have to go and buy batteries. So far, the dog has kept my own pets entertained for 20 minutes without requiring a recharge. They love it!The remote control is large enough for a child's small hands to hold and use, and it has so many great features! It is really easy to use. The dog sits, barks, does a yoga pose, and even dances, which is my favorite! The movements are really entertaining. It really moves; not just a slight movement. There are wheels on the bottom of each paw, so he scoots around well on hard surfaces.
