Great keyboard

Feel - Feels great on fingers, clicky and fun to useFunctionality- Great! I also have number pad which is also good for older games or those who use the number pad on Word, Excel (etc ..)Value for money- AWESOME! I love this Keyboard so much, I feel like gatekeeping it whenever someone asks me where I got it from. The color shades are awesome and they have a great aestheticKeyboard quality- Some plastic, metal too (on audio controller). It is really good quality and feels great on fingers. I love to use it during regular work and gamingNoise level - Moderate, not so bad compared to cheap mechanical keyboards you see on Amazon or Ebay. It’s just alright :)

Far exceeded my expectations

After several years of faithful service my old Unicomp buckling-spring keyboard started to get flaky. I had to admit to myself that as great as buckling springs feel and sound, at this point in my life they're just a bit too resistant for extended typing. So I started looking through mechanical keyboards with some key criteria in mind:* Blue switches (tactile, but easy to press)* Numpad* Nice-looking* Wired* Not encumbered with gimmicks (LCD screen, etc.)My "no gimmicks" goal made me skeptical about the volume knob, but it turns out it's great. It's just... a volume knob. While I don't have daily need for it, when I do, the knob is a lot more convenient than fishing out the little speaker icon in the taskbar. The keys themselves are remarkable. They may be the nicest-feeling blue switch keys I've used. I've tried some that felt cheap, for lack of a better word, but I don't feel that here. The "stencil" look of some letters isn't ideal, but it's understandable because the keys need to be molded with transparent inlays to support the backlight, so the opaque parts need to be a single piece. The backlight is even the perfect shade of blue to complement the keys, and easy to control. I do wish there were a shortcut to light the whole keyboard--the whole-keyboard options seem to require cycling through the numerous animations available, which are cool but which I probably won't use much. The one-key shortcuts are for two gaming modes (WASD, etc.) and one "inner keys" mode that lights the letters and adjacent punctuation, which is what I'm mostly using (fn + 3).The overall appearance is perfect for my tastes, echoing the old Model M colors and a part-sleek, part-chunky retrofuturistic style. It looks like it would fit right in to Ash's medical bay on the Nostromo. After a couple days of using this keyboard I ordered a second one for work.

Amazing quality!!! Bang for your buck!

I was on the hunt for a new keyboard as my old one started to become unresponsive on certain keys. I felt like it needed to be replaced either way because it was cheap and too loud for my liking. However, I stumbled upon this keyboard for its style and price. I felt as if it was a more reasonable price for a keyboard, while delivering quality. It truly did not disappoint when I received it!! Typing on it was so addicting because it has such a satisfying sound that was soothing to the ears—it wasn’t obnoxious, unlike my old keyboard. Typing on it was pretty quiet so it’s very suitable for doing work or playing games on it. It was comfortable to use with 3 adjustable elevations. I really like the addition of a volume knob as it is more convenient for me to change volumes. Additionally, there’s many cool backlight modes to choose from. The keyboard itself was sturdy as it was made from hard plastic and did not feel hollow. However, the only thing I wish is more color options as this was only limited to the color blue. I feel like it would look sick with different color options to fit the style of the keyboard and allow for further customization! But, it was advertised as only having a blue backlighting, so this is something I can overlook.Overall, the keyboard delivers amazing quality for its price :)

~ Great Keyboard to Customize ~

Alright friends here she is! ~I would say that the overall typing experience is SPLENDID. Decent layout. Still getting used to the right-shift key being slightly shorter. Also getting used to the numeric pad and volume knob. One reason I got this board is because there was a time in my life when I used the numeric pad for everything as apposed to number-punching 0-9. I think it'll be more fun this way friends, and less key travel. As for the red switches, I think my personal preference is probably brown switches. Good news though, if for some reason I randomly decide to, the switches can be.. well.. switched out for brown ones relatively easily. I'm doubtful that I will actually swap switches though because I play a lot of mmorpg games and having a shorter actuation point is pretty beneficial even though red switches may not have the same tactile thing going on as brown or blue ones haha.As for the backlight, I saw that it was blue. I was hoping that maybe it would be white, but then I realized that this is actually presents an opportunity you see friends. I went searching and found key caps that go very well with the blue backlight coloring. My new caps are somewhat of a grayscale, so not far off from the original retro appeal, but they also have some silver-blue color in them, and that's looking pretty sick with the blue backlight. Success! ~ I think these were called sunset carbon gradient-style caps or something along those lines. Turns-out there's like a bazillion options in terms of keys.. perhaps too many options.. haha

Great keyboard, just not waterproof

I’ve had this keyboard for a long while and have loved it and it’s clacking sounds. I think it is great value but make sure to not ever get it wet. I spilled something on my desk and I could have sworn only small water droplets fell onto the keyboard, but after using it the next day quite a few of my keys were non functional, even though they lit up as normal. I believe it was the water damage. Now I am sad to say that the keyboard is sitting in my closet and I’ll probably throw it away, but it was cool while it lasted!!
