It was a good Christmas gift.

I bought this as a gift for a toddler. It looks to be educational and fun. I like that it is a hands on activity that can be played with again and again.

I got this in the yellow "Human Body" booklet & my 9-year old son & I had fun with it! I like how some of the pages are easier (for younger kids) & some pages are more detailed/difficult for older kids! So this is something that can be used for a few years for your child, or for multiple siblings of varying ages, so I think that makes it handy. It's nice too, to have that variety of "easy" & "hard" pages so that my son finds some of the pages fun & not like "schoolwork" where he has to "think as hard" lol. So I think it's a good mixture!We especially had fun with the "poop" page lol...of course a child is going to like/laugh at that lol! And hey, it is good for a kid to be aware as they grow up as to what is a "healthy/normal" poop & what isn't! :)And yes, as some reviewers pointed out, there's no "answer key" in the back of the booklet, so if a parent is unsure of where some of the velcro answers go, you'd have to go online looking up the answer. Thankfully I have a science background from years ago, so I leaned on that to make sure we put the answers in their correct spots & the booklet has different colored outlines on some of the pages for you to more easily figure out which answer goes where with the colored outlines of the blank answer spot matching the same colored outlines of the velcro answers...however, some of the outline colors they used are SO SIMILAR in color that it can be somewhat difficult to decipher exactly which answer goes where. That's one thing that I'm surprised they did...especially for a children's learning tool...the color outlines should've been more clearly different colors to make it a bit more noticeable which answer goes with which empty space...but it is what it is...that makes it a challenge I guess & it's still an interesting & unique learning tool!It's also pretty durable & the velcro seems like it will hold up to being used over & over. It's a cute, neat, & unique item! I forget since it was awhile ago that we received it, but I think when I opened up the package that the bag it comes with for keeping it in smelled strongly "plasticy" so I remember I tossed that out. But otherwise it's an interesting item! :)

This fun dinosaur workbook has so many fun things to do! My grandson is 5 years old and he is high functioning autistic, and he absolutely loves this! This workbook gives him so many fun and educational things to do, so he is learning while having fun at the same time! It teaches ABC's, numbers, shapes, matching...all kinds of fun things! And I love that this is sturdy also. The pages are made so that they can be erased and used over again and again. This is a really fun workbook for young children, and I would absolutely give it as a gift and/or get it again.

I did not expect this product to be such a hit with my 6yo! For starters, the quality of the book is pretty good. I truly appreciated that the velcro was already attached as most comparable products don’t.It’s hands on, but still requires some assistance for the children who can’t read. I am please with the amount of information in the book, both my daughter and I learned quite a bit! She got a kick out of the poop page!Overall, it kept her engaged and eager to learn! Definitely one of the best activity books we have!

My favorite part of this book as the parent, is that all of the velcro is already attached in any place that you need it. There is no need to spend hours placing little velcro pieces all over the book! This is ready to play with almost immediately. My daughter is 3 about to turn 4. There are cool puzzles. There are places for her to practice writing. The dinosaur names are far beyond her ability to read, but the activities fit her great. I don't think an older kid (7/8) would have as much fun with this. The activities are really designed around a younger child. We love it. Definitely recommend.

So I've gotten maybe 6 or 7 of these types of books. Not this one exactly, but you know, similar style books with similar activities and concepts.What I loved about this one, is that it didn't require an hour of assembly. The stickers / velcro style things were on both the pages and the pieces, so we just had to pop the pieces out of the cardboard then stick it to the pages. That saved a ton of time, and it's something none of the other busy books have done.I really appreciate that being done already and really makes this product much better. My little one has just started becoming obsessed with dinosaurs, so this is perfect for her.Love it.
