Joni Mitchell - The Magic Of Mitchell (DVD)

This DVD is a collection of mostly TV appearances - some of which are very difficult to find. The selection of songs makes this an indispensable item for anyone interested in the work of one of the most brilliant and influential singers and songwriters of the last century.

This is a collection of old TV appearances etc.The sound quality is often a bit wobbly & the picture quality worse! Compare, for instance, the Isle of Wight 1970 footage on THIS dvd, against the separate DVD of that gig.You can certainly see Joni age & alter as she goes through the years!IF you are a die-hard fan/collector then this may suit you but it is certainly NOT the best way to introduce someone to the quality of her music.There IS one track on the disc that is not even noted on the DVD sleeve track list.Overall this DVD gives the impression of being rather hastily put together.There are definitely better quality options out there folks!

Nothing but the stuff I love but on DVD, love, love, love it and her.
