Great tool!
I installed six floating shelves with this tool and it worked out great. The drill bit was certianly long enough for what I needed. Be sure to go out of your way to clear the wood chips especially so when you complete drilling the hole. A few times I did not clear the chips and I could not get the shelf to move all the way back to the wall.

just okay
Doesn't quite self center and is off approx. 1/32 to 1/16 of an inch. Good for quick and rough joinery, but extra time for finishing will be needed. I can't justify spending nearly a hundred dollars on a Dowling jig and this one does what is expected at this price point.

Good quality paid great price. Did the trick pin I used this to drill holes for metal brackets to hang floating shelves.

Worth the Purchase
Works well until the bit gets too hot. It expanded and was causing the bit too stick. I at first thought it was sulking already, but I figured out it was actually the steel collar (on the guide) that I guess the bit couldn’t fit smoothly near the top when it heated up (metal expands when hot) and it grinder a little. So NTS, use when cool.
