domke f-1x bag olive
this is a super bag it is well made & holds all the gear that I need it for plus I like the idea that it can be machine washed when grubby & ages with time, superb, I am very pleased with it.I have a couple of gripes & that was when I opened the box the bag inside was covered with dust so had to wash it.also I think the top flap on the bag could be make wider to cover more.if anyone needs inserts don`t buy the expensive domke ones, buy the billingham superflex`s half the price & better made.I bought two 9x18 superflex cut the middles out & fitted them both sides of the domke 4 insert, now holds two camera body`s one each side protected.

Slightly flawed masterpiece!
This is a great camera bag. I have had Billingham bags for years and bought this today as I normally have to spread my kit across two or three smaller Billinghams. I like the idea of having a bag that is big enough to bundle everything in. Of course the disadvantage to this is the weight and I'm not getting any younger! I added an old padded shoulder pad to the strap, which helps.I would be too heavy for me to carry around all day but in and out of the car, it's great. I believe it is waterproof. I presume by that they mean shower proof. I wouldn't be too keen to risk it in a deluge of rain. Pockets are not completely covered by the lid and there are plenty of places the rain could get in if you were not attentive. The design is simple but very effective. Being soft, it moulds itself around your body. Billinghams are bulkier and I think less flexible. My old Hadley can easilly tip over and spill gear on the ground when opened. This Domke would never do that. I reckon it is a really sound purchase. Horribly expensive but probably would last a lifetime.
