VisualsThe coloring, lighting, and the appearance of the images are near perfect for a projector of this price range. The corners of the screen aren't blurred and the captions/subtitles are easy to read. DVD Player and remoteI tested the DVD player out andeverything works just like a normal DVD player. I am able to press pause, stop, skip, and go back to whatever scene that I was watching on with a click of the remote. The remote, is a basic dvd player styled remote that uses 2 batteries to control the projector. Nothing special about it, just a normal remote.NoiseThe noise level from the fan though is not as great as it can be. I have a cheaper projector from this company and the fan sounds just about the same.The audio is great though. It is louder than I thought, and the sound is crisp, clear and a little like surround sound. You can also hook up a separate speaker via bluetooth. Connections I connected a roku stick and it was very easy to set up. I was also able to connect my phone to the roku so that I can watch movies, shows, anime, live news and use apps like Youtube, Netflix, and Tubi, from my phone to the projector. Basically, this is like a little tv in my room. The projector also connects to gaming consoles like the Nintendo switch. My family and I were able to play multiplayer games on it without any issues, overheating, or lagging.Inside the boxInside the box, it comes with some connecting wires like a hdmi cable if you want to screenshare your laptop. It also comes with a cleaning wipe, qtip cleaning sticks, and a small screw driver to help you clean the lens properly. It comes with instructions too which is handy if you're not familiar with projectors or need help with something.AppearanceI'm a big fan of black & white tech so the appearance and aesthetic of this in my room looks great. The knob to adjust the clarity of the screen (the black ring around the lens) functions well and isn't unappealing when all the way out which for me, is a plus to have something that works well and has a great design.TMY Customer ServiceI have been speaking to the representative Susi via email and they have been very kind, understanding, and accomodating to what I have asked them. I had a issue with the remote that came with another projector I purchased and they were quick to respond with a solution to my issue (gave me a new remote cause the one i had wasn't connecting/working properly)ConThe one thing I wish it had was a way to adjust the screen to my wall in my room. To make the screen bigger or smaller, you have to physically grab and move the projector to get that perfect size. Since my room is small the screen doesn't fit and is bent so that part of the screen is on the wall and on the ceiling. Other than that I haven't found any other flaws. Mind you that I have mostly used this indoors in a bedroom at night. update: after a couple of months it still works great

The media could not be loaded. I really like this projector mainly because you can do dvds without hooking up a dvd player (you are not limited to what movies or shows that you can stream)! The quality is good too! The video I posted is the dvd movie. I wish I could have downloaded the streamed movie too so you could see how nice it is. The pictures are of the dvd and streamed movie. The Bluetooth hooked up to my ue speaker in a matter of seconds. I read a review that said they had issues, no issues here. My favorite is using the firestick to stream because you can stream everything you are connect to. Can’t do that with your phone! I have only used it in my home and the volume was great without a speaker, but if I did it outside I would probably use the Bluetooth speaker. It comes with everything you see in the picture, no tripod! It hooked up quickly without any issues. This would be great for my daughter because she always has movie nights outside with the neighborhood!

I have similar projectors in the past but what caught my attention for this one was the built in DVD player. This projector has a solid build and the package is equipped with all the accessories needed for multiple modes of connectivity. The first functionality I tried using was the DVD player. I put in one of my favorite DVDs from my collection and the projector just read it fine and able to play the DVD without any issue. Any DVD player would be able to play audio CD too, and I tried it out with a music CD and it work flawlessly as well.The size of the DVD is just nice and not too heavy, just the perfect size to easily store it and place it on a flat surface for projecting. The audio is not disappointing too with pretty good sound quality that is crisp. The brightness of the projector is good enough to even project on a rather bright room (see picture) and I am really satisfied with the performance so far. I would highly recommend this projector, especially for those who have a good collection of old DVDs to enjoy playing this on a big screen.

I got this to use during camping with Scouts. It really performed well once these sun set and gave the kids something to watch while parents finished setting up. The one limitation is that it can only use DVDs instead of Blu-ray, however that didn't affect me given our extensive DVD collection. Sufficiently bright to do what I wanted to do, and the internal speakers were loud enough even in the rain for the kids to hear it when gathered around. Overall, I would highly recommend it as an all around unit as it was more convenient than having to travel with both the projector and player. If running it off of a power bank, it also used about 30% less power to run than a separate projector and DVD player.

I owe TMY's previous projector that comes with a screen so I decided to buy their latest projector for several reasons. One is that the speaker has been upgraded and you can really tell right off the bat. Of course hooking a Bluetooth speaker to it will make it even better but you can easily just use the onboard speaker and enjoy a movie night. Another reason to purchase this is obvious, it comes with a DVD player built in and what a major upgrade that was. The picture quality was amazing.There are also other ways to watch movies such as the HDMI port and others as well. The photos included will show you the box it came in, what you receive with the projector, settings ect... This is a very easy projector to use and it gives a great picture. If you are looking to get a projector for family nights without breaking the bank this is the one to get. With all its features including Wi-Fi connection TMY continues to create quality products. Highly Recommended.
