Awesome, everything I wanted and more. If you are looking for a hobby CNC that runs like industrial one this is it.

This machine is solid! I needed an upgrade from the CarveKing that was both larger and much more rigid to cut metals. It was easy to set up and hasn't failed me yet. The machine looks and feels solid. I was able to get a decent finish on grade 5 titanium with just a little experimentation. The built in controller is fine--totally functional but maybe not the only control method you want to have available for some jobs. The router that comes with it is can do good work, but it's definitely limiting and bogged down a bit in challenging cuts. Next up, I plan to install a larger water-cooled spindle I previously installed on the carve king.

So far so good! Ran my first program with the provided sd card and I am now downloading Vcarve as my primary CAD software, I will probably get UGS as my gcode sender. Also I lost my sd card and Nymolabs sent me a new one free of charge!

Super powerful, accurate and well made machine. I bought this as an upgrade to a fox alien masuter pro.It's a massive upgrade.It's easy to put together and everything about it just seems to work. I mainly run programs from my laptop, but having the offline controller is nice.I am however a little irritated that it is now $100 less just a week or so after I bought one.Either way it's an excellent addition to my little workshop.

I'm new to the CNC market but have been doing woodwork for years. I wanted to get a CNC that could do a good size project. Most entry level machines are typically too small, and the more expensive machines were too big. This one is perfect right in the middle. And within this category you pay a little bit more money for the better construction it comes with. This is very solid and sturdy. And the spindle it comes with is rather nice as well. I wish it came with a 1/4 inch collet however. But those are cheap to get, so no biggy really. I wish the hand control was bigger. And I have some issues with the candle software, so I just use vectric. And I wish it used a USB stick versus the micro SD. But that's just me, maybe there's a reason nymolab went that route. Overall though, this machine is really really nice. Very sexy looking compared to other units. The customer support is top notch as well. Being new to this market I had many questions and they have been with me every step of the way. I did have an issue with the spindle and they replaced it within 2 days to me! I think it's great that a company takes responsibility and acknowledges their customers. The packaging was great and easy to assemble as well.

The media could not be loaded. I’ve had a few of these bench top CNCs and not had much success cutting even the simplest materials. We cut carbon fiber to 4mm and recently wanted to see exactly what this machine could do, cutting grade 5 titanium with very conservative feed rates and plunge rates was no issue, we don’t carve or cut any wood with this machine and it’s strength and precision for the cost is outstanding, simple to assemble, easy to calibrate and we can’t recommend this highly enough, don’t waste your time with cheaper models, spend the money you’ll be glad you did.

The media could not be loaded. Just assembled the NBS 6040. I have 3 socket head screws that connect the t-slot table to the base that will not screw all the way in to clear the t-slots. See photos. The thread quality on the holes is poor to say the least. Furthermore the y-axis lead screws do not rotate at the same speed. As a result the x-axis (cross bridge) skews and does not track properly throwing it out of square. I did not buy this from Amazon but off of the Nymolabs website.
