Cute and easy resources
Overall, this is a nice product and a majority of the wheels are nice! However, I did not like that the wheel for “s” has the word “sheep”. I bought these for sound purposes not spelling so I feel it may be confusing to have a digraph that says “sh” for “s”….Also some pictures are not good representations of the word. For example the picture for quilt is a person in bed with a normal looking blanket, not a patchwork quilt. It would be neat if the vowels had two sides so each sound could be differentiated. Just some thoughts! I think my students will enjoy these though and getting to spin to see what picture/word is next.

Would Mostly Rebuy Tomorrow
Colors and choices well thought out. Would appreciate more sturdiness to cardstock, since Children are playing with it regularly.

Fun
These keep learning fun and interactive! They feel strong enough to hold up to moderate use but I can see them wearing down over time. Good size for Littles to hold.

Fun learning tool
My daughter has been using these for her kindergarten kids. It's fun for them to spin the disks to reveal the next word. The pictures are colorful and pretty self explanatory, but most of the kids aren't really reading the words, so they see a picture of something and guess- even if it doesn't start with the same letter. They'll of course get better with practice, and these are a fun activity that they share.

cardboard bends
They are made of very colorful cardboard that is not really very sturdy. They can be folded with little effort. Some of the pictures on the cards show more than one item (two carrots, for example) but the word that they use is the singular "carrot." If I'm using these to teach kids then I would prefer that the card had the plural if the picture has more than one item. There is one cultural reference that might confuse small children in the US. The picture is of a soccer ball but the card calls it a football. They are really reaching to come up with the words for the letter "X" and have pictures of very obscure animals. The thin cardboard circles don't turn easily to see the different words. I have adult hands and had a challenge to get them to turn. Small hands will have an even bigger challenge.I loved the idea of this product. I'll probably use it with ThreeYearOld but it could have been so much better.

Great education tool
The media could not be loaded. I really like that they get to learn their numbers and letters visually but I don’t like that they can’t twist it themselves and when they can it’s hard to and I’m worried they’ll break it. My 4 year old actually did break two of them but thankfully I was able to snap it back together. So still a great buy.

Nice, but come apart too easily
With this product, I got exactly what I thought that I was ordering, as I have with every other Coogam item I’ve tried. These flashcards are sets of two nicely laminated circles which seem to be securely attached top piece to bottom piece. The top circle can be rotated to show six different words that start with the letter, or six different ways of showing the number. I thought the items on the number wheel were particularly helpful, much more so than putting a set number of items to count on each would have been (see photos). While these are not exactly toys, I can see them being good learning tools in a preschool/school/homeschool setting, and fun for a child to identify, especially playing together with a parent or teacher.Edited to add -- a couple of weeks later and I had to remove one star, as the connectors in the middle pops apart with only a little bit of a pull, which I discovered by finding miscellaneous little rings on my floor. Children need to be gentle with these, and I wouldn't want to use them around little ones, due to the choking hazard when they come apart. :-(
