This is usually a voltage drop (due to the transmission path, etc.). It is recommended to balance the voltage at the end of the strip/where the strip appears less bright(I.e. connecting a smaller power supply at the end of the strip).

Simply follow the cutting instructions on the strip. (We also recommend testing the strip before and after cutting to make sure it works properly).

Q: Will the light strip be affected if it is mounted on an aluminium rail?

It is possible that the strip will be affected to some degree. It is recommended to install the strip after it has been fixed with the 3M adhesive.
