Excellent unit, works with T-Mobile - no issues
We purchased this item after failing to get a Netgear LB2120 4G router (purchased on Amazon) and a Teltonika RUT950 (from Amazon) to work with a T-Mobile data plan sim card. We spent days on the phone with the vendors and mostly with T-Mobile and could never get either of these units to connect to the datastream. We went through every suggestion and settings and were left frustrated. As a last resort, we bought the Yeacomm 4G router. We put the same sim card in the unit, plugged in the power and were online inside 1 minute. Excellent signal strength, super fast throughput. No problems whatsoever, not even a need to adjust settings etc. It just works. Its a well-made unit with good mounting accessories. Just be warned that there is a POE power adapter included but no network cable, so order one of those when you order this. I've no issue with this, its reasonably priced .... and well ... just works. Yeacomm Outdoor 4G CPE Router, 3G 4G LTE Router with SIM Card Slot (AT & T and T-Mobile Compatible), 150Mbps CAT4 Mobile Computer Router with ONE US POE Adapter. Remote Area Internet Connect

Impressive
For an outdoor LTE modem/router with POE capability, it is fantastic. Pulled the SIM from AT&T smartphone and it was up and running instantly, no calling customer service, no IMEI change. I needed to make it run a long ways, further than 100m, so tried using a modern 30w POE injector with long range and a POE booster midline like you would use for a long run IP camera. Unfortunately, this little guy runs on 15v POE rather than standardized voltages in the at/af 40-55v range, so the POE extension did not work. That being said it would be a total 5 star home run if it were on 48v, but I knew the POE voltage going into the project so I cannot fault them too much. The 15v did push past the 100m barrier and powered the unit, but not certain it will go out as far as I really want to go to get this thing to the top of the hill that obstructs my line of sight. 500 feet of outdoor cat6 might be a bit too much to ask with stock 15v poe injector. There is the alternative of the KuWfi unit that does run on 48v POE and as such might be extendable to 1000ft with several Cudy boosters and a quality Cudy injector at the base. The user interface is good. Very customizable.

Major security flaw prevents this from being a perfect solution.
If you're not concerned about anyone having access to the router, this thing is great. It performs well, pulls a strong signal, and has held up to a 120+ degree summer. But you cannot delete or change the default admin credentials, and adding your own admin credentials never verifies. Meaning that with less than a guess or two, the default admin username and passsword can be figured out easily and someone with direct -- or even remote -- access can easily tamper with the modem. This is a glaring flaw that is not acceptable, it's really basic hardware security 101 that's somehow broken.

does NOT support all US LTE bands
I wasted 3 days in experiments with this LTE router. 4 different places on my lot, different heights, different bearings to the nearby cell towers.LTE reception with my cellular phone: goodLTE reception with this device: zero. Just 3G

Works for me!
I live in a rural area where the only internet service available is wireless "line of site". You're lucky if you've never had to use such a service. They purchase bandwidth from regular providers, mark it up 1000% and then sell it to people who can't get a wired connection. It is a total ripoff. This router has completely resolved that issue. I am now able to stream HD and 4k video without buffering. It was easy to install. I have it mounted on a 15' pole on my roof. In my case I set this up in bridge mode and connected it to my existing router. My only complaint is that the pole mount that came with this device is flimsy plastic and I had to improvise to stabilize it. In spite of that I am very pleased with this product. One thing to consider is that all telecoms lie their asses off and when they say "unlimited data" they are lying to you. Even those that say things like "truely unlimited" are lying and will cap or "deprioritize" (the new code word for cap) your connection. I can recommend going through an eBay seller, but make sure you read all of the fine print regarding whether there are caps or deproiritization. When it comes to choosing a provider, you're on your own.

I needed to connect to the internet in a remote area where only satellite or broadband were available. This product fit the bill for me. The enclosure looks very durable and the card inside as well as the ethernet connector is well protected from the environment. I tested it using a sim card from my cricket phone (uses AT&T). The signal strength was good even in my living room(indicated 3 or 4 bars - 4G service). I could surf the web with good speed. The technical support from Mr. YU was very good (I had a few questions that most people would probably not have). This device comes with a POE extender for power if you already have a router, but you can buy the kit for about the same price but in place of the extender, you get a small wifi router that has two ethernet ports. One is a POE port to power the device.
