Not for large hands!
Great sounding instrument. Slightly over 2.5 in long and 1 ¼ at its widest. I wish it were priced better for the size (my reason for 4 stars) But the sound is loud and very good. Quite flexible. Cannot strike a downward motion with my index finger because it catches on the sharp edge that should be 'curled' inwards more but that possibly can be remedied. I'm impressed wigth the sound but the box is a little weird. A bit too large for the size of the harp and mine came with the neck strap threaded in the opposite direction as shown in the picture and proving nearly impossible to thread in the right way because its floppy. They tied it on and undoing it caused it to slip out. I may never get it in so this may render the open ended 'case' unusable other than for storage. Great sound and cute so overall I am okay with it

A very small but very good jue harp
I'm really impressed with the Pavel Potkin Altair harp (I have several). It is affordable and portable with cool case options. It may be small, but it is big in sound and rivals more expensive "professional" harps. It is much better than Grover or Blue Grass harps commonly seen in the United States (I don't feel anything with those harps except their limitations). The Altair Komus feels like it splits open my soul (in a good way).1st pic is size comparison between Altair Komus (small) and Shamanic Megakhomus (large).2nd pic is comparison between Altair Komus and Grover and Blue Grass common in USA.

Fairly loud with decent range of tone and easy to pluck
This jaw harp exceeded my expectations. As one of the less expensive jaw harps on Amazon my expectations were not very high. I am a somewhat bigger and needed something better to play in besides the "snoopy" brand from hobby lobby. Its fairly small, and light. Very easy to pluck and does not clang against itself. Fairly high tone with good volume. Personally I think it has a great range and good breathing response as well. The hard case it comes with is perfect for keeping it from getting lost or damaged.

It's well made
Can't complain about any of it at all. I had no idea how to use one. There were links to videos that didn't work with the product, but a quick youtube search and I was twinging and twanging in short order. The carrying case, which is a wooden block with a neat cord, I opened wrong when I first got mine. You just take the little bead at the top, pull it up and loosen the twine around the harp. I untied it like a goof, but tied it back. It's fun to learn so far.

The Singing Key!
A long time ago i met someone who played this instrument, i had no idea what it was at the time but i liked the twangy sound it produced.i always wanted to get one, and am happy i finally did.it's fun to play, but remember to be careful. it hurts if you pluck it and it hits your teeth
