The peace of mind is priceless! Easily programmed within a few seconds
So unfortunately, I have locked my keys in my car three times this year the last time I had to break out my window cause I couldn’t afford a locksmith and then someone suggested me at the place where I was getting the glass replaced for my window to get one of these keys that they’re easy to program And she was absolutely right and I could’ve done this and saved myself a lot of trouble if you haven’t I suggested before I got these keys. All I had was the regular blade key in my door on the driver side is the only one where I can make entry. I have a four year-old son and now because I have these keys I have assurance and peace of mind. The keys came quicker than what they said they would. a day early. it is so simple to program all you do is turn your key from the on off position eight times within 10 seconds and then hit a button on the remote on each remote if you got to which I did so I’d have a spare and it was programmed very quickly. The buttons are very clicky whereas the remote that came with my car, he pushed down and it doesn’t really feel like it’s touching anything and only one side of that worked. It looks like it’s well made. I love that. I have a spare if you haven’t done this if you’ve only got one key, you need to prepare because incident like that can happen and they can cost you a pretty penny versus spending $10 and waiting a couple days to receive it! I absolutely love that they’re blue that’s my favorite color. I thought they only came in black. It’s easy to find in my mass of keys on my key ring.Do yourself a favor and get this!

Setup was quick and simple
Lost my backup key and FOB. I had to use a locksmith for the key because of the chip. But decided to try and save some money by ordering these FOB's. Batteries tested very well with a 3.22v charge. The programming process for my Ford Fusion was absolutely brainless. Both remotes work perfectly.

Works Just Fine
This was for a 2001 Ford, 4 button. It did not come with programming instructions, but did come with a battery. My first attempt at programming, I concluded I did not cycle the key from off to run within the required number of seconds.Second attempt was successful. From Ford's site, this is the procedure I followed, and it worked perfectly.WARNING!!If you have other remotes, for this same vehicle keyless entry, have them close by as they MAY be de-programmed during this procedure. Best bet is to have each one, for this same vehicle to hit any button as you do the new one. They can all be done by pressing one button after the new one WITHOUT having to go through the reprogram cycle for each one.Learned this the HARD way."Step-by-Step Programming Instructions"Close the car doors, then open the driver-side door. Press the UNLOCK button on the driver-side door.Next, turn the ignition from OFF to RUN 8 times. Do this within 10 seconds, making sure the 8th time ends on RUN. When you’ve entered programming mode, the door locks will lock and unlock. (Note: If the doors don’t cycle, turn the key faster. Your car may not have keyless entry if you still can’t get the door locks to cycle.)Press any button on the Ford remote to be programmed. Do this within 8 seconds. The door locks will cycle again to confirm the keyless entry remote is programmed and ready to use.Have a second remote key fob? Again, press any button on the remote within 8 seconds to cycle the door locks. Repeat this step for any additional key fobs. Finally, turn the ignition to OFF. The locks will again cycle to confirm programming is complete.

DOUBLE CHECK YOUR INSTRUCTIONS
Just got them delivered today so can't speak to long term use but the buttons have a nice feel when you click them. Programming was easy enough however the reason I deducted a star was the instructions were incomplete. On my '99 Ford Escort a necessary first step was to press the unlock button from the driver's side door. This step was omitted from the directions and made me waste 10 minutes before I googled the directions. The AI generated instructions worked fine the first time and I had both remotes programmed in under 2 minutes. The omission feels like a marketing ploy to frustrate people and make them hire a locksmith, preferably from keyless remotes partners.

Great add on or replacement for older fob
Fobs seem as good as oem for build quality. Button functions are nice and crisp. Easy programming for 2006-2011 Ford Explorer. The price for 2 fobs at $10 you cant beat that.

decent key fobs but don'
Were easy to program and worked well for a while. However the durablittu is not there on these key fob replacements as mine have already broke where the fob attaches to the key ring, I have multiple that have broke now, and for that reason I will need replacements for my replacements. I'd try another brand or be careful with your keys with fob on there or it could break off. I worked construction so maybe the fob took some abuse but my gf's also broke eventually as well, they should use a metal rivet or something to reinforce the keyring part so it doesn't break. Seems the plastic used for the case gets brittle after a while
