Lets just be clear, These are very cheap and 1 of the 5 has failed.I was doing a full format on all of them before using and one has clearly had some sort of failure and is now overheating and not responding.Effectively it must have worked for less that 1/2 an hour.The others seem fine. When the initial one failed I considered it the cost of buying such cheap drives.Update: EastBull have been very pro-active and noted my review and have replaced the faulty drive.As I didn't actually request them to do this I rate this as superb service and given that I now have a full set of working drives, I have changed my review rating. A sign of a good company is one that is willing to sort issues.

Looks good and would have been of value if they all had worked.Had put in for USB 3, and Amazon came up with the above, read through information, but never saw that they were USB 2 and not USB 3.The first stick that I put in was faulty unfortunately. Put it into the PC and it was asking to be formatted. Also was showing that it had over 18Gb already on it???? Then was wondering if t had in fact already been returned as faulty and had been used on a non Windows machine, and that was why it was asking to be formatted. But as it was not showing on File Explorer as EastBull as the others did, I returned the goods as being faulty etc.Have not bought them again, went for something else that was USB 3.Would I buy them again, NO.Would I recommend them, NO, based upon my experience.

As with a few others, one of the drives doesn't work. Fast delivery though.Just an update. One didn't work on delivery, since then 2 have given up and the 2 I have left are so painfully slow at transferring Data, it's just not worth it. I would suggest you buy a branded make and save you money. As they say, "You only get what you pay for". And for these that is so true.

One of this 5 pack is not recognised in my computer's file manager (I use Linux Mint). I am copying some documents relating to my Uncle's DFC to my brothers and cousins, so copied the same files onto the other 4 and they all work fine. I can see the USB stick in Disk management / partition software, so I re-formatted it but with the same result as before i.e. no sign of the USB in order to access the files! Not impressed - I wouldn't have bought these 1 Gig USBs except for the fact that I am giving them away and now I'm one short! They are gimmicky with an unnecessary light and lanyard - shame they are unreliable when not cheap for such small storage.

Ok, its been over a year since i bought these and while they were working they were fine. However out of the 5 i now only have 3 working. The other 2 have made them selfs write protected. I have tried all recommended fixes including software. So the problem is with the drives.Has they were used to backup documents which is still readable its not a total loss. Still annoying as they had each only been used 4 times & both drives have only around 3gb of data on them.

Excellent value, I like the fact the USB's are different colours (some USBs flash and some don't but all work) making it easy to identify them.Purchased the for use in my new Ford car that does not have a C D player. First I copied my C Ds from the computer to the USB and the sound is excellent. On the ford you can also mix the tracks so you can have all your favourite tracks taken from different C Ds at random with no adverts or talking, just as I like it.

These memory sticks are great for storage - 32MB is a LOT - but unfortunately one of my sticks didn't work. I tried contacting the seller about it using the email address in the guide, but never got a reply. Fortunately, I didn't really need all 5, I just bought because of the reasonable price, but keep that in mind if you are planning on using all the sticks. Overall, great value for money though.

They need to be formatted on a Windows 7 or above computer before you can use them on anything.You cannot use or format them on speaker, TV's, printers, car video systems, smart TV's, electronic picture frames or midi players.Fact is that you cannot even use them on any of he afore mentioned until you have done a slow laborious format whoch takes an eternity.However...if you are only going to use them on Windows 7 or above then they are good.
