Pro: got it to help my Kindle fire 7 (5th gen) out it's true the kindle fire 7 I have built-in speakers that are shameful bad to listen to, but this baby makes it great again super loud too, BT-Speak is good (says there a built-in Mic? not try that)Con: the FM radio part of it an let down it like listening to an old AM radio the range of it catch single it no good, like Sideband radio but it really bad! thank godi didn't buy it for as a radio it really badly turned!there many settings to switch to on it, time get used to:1.) audio line in do work ok2.) Bluetooth speaker great :))3.) Radio FM listing to does not work! there FM radio stating 8mil away can't even pick that up at all!! it can't even tune that station in at all...4.) Mic builds in! can't say try it!! bad or good can't say!!5.) SD card didn't try it out, unknown to me!6.) update (6/2018) I replace the pad on it, larger one 8ea= 4bottom and 4 left sides stand sidewise! use a hot glue gun set them!rest of the other option works good, just the FM Radio part fail7.) update (8/2018) the speaker metallic cover screen paint started flaking off now!

I bought this to replace a dying MP3/radio used for playing sleep sounds like thunderstorms and ocean waves off an SD card. It i! has a much louder maximum setting, it can play radio stations, and I can pair it with my phone if I want to listen to podcasts or audio books. Overall, it's fantastic. My only disappointment is perhaps the unusual heavily accented voice that loudly announces each of those modes. After a while, I suppose you get used to it but it's almost comical when you hear it for the first few times. Some native English speakers will probably have difficulty parsing it, particularly the Bluetooth setting which has a lot more words. I also worry about it exploding or dying early because the instructions seem to indicate it wasn't meant to be plugged in all the time like it is on my nightstand. Because it's Bluetooth, I guess they expected you to take it to parties or picnics or somewhere without electrical sockets so plugging it in is like charging a cellphone. It says it has an overcharging circuit but not to rely on that. So if one day I wake up without a face and the bedroom is on fire, I will definitely change my review to one star. For now, it gets four.

The voice is obnoxiously loud and the antenna doesn't really work that great. I bought this to listen to FM radio in my office at work but all I get is static. I have a huge window that has unobstructed views of a field and the sky but this things can't receive a signal no matter where I place it. I tried this in my house as well and got poor reception. If I'm outside it works great, the volume goes up higher than I would've expected and the sounds is actually clear. There's a scanning function on the fm tuner but it doens't let you know what station you are on so that's another downside. I'll be using it by the pool this summer because I won't care if anyone destroys the POS by getting it wet.

What kind of Bluetooth speaker can you get for $9.99 ( with FM radio) ? A pretty decent one in fact. While browsing Amazon looking for speaker I decided for 9.99 it was worth a flier. What was there to lose at that price? For listening to ball games on MLB At Bat the sound quality is more than adequate, its pretty good. Music even sounds pretty good. You can get a better sounding speaker for music I'm sure. But not for 9.99. It is perfect for traveling. If you lose it or leave it behind by mistake, its not a big dollar mistake. The Bluetooth function pairs easily. The instructions are in English and reasonably well written. The heavy Asian accented female telling you have paired your Bluetooth successfully is pretty loud but that's OK. The FM radio will pick up stronger stations in your area. Its a good value for the price! Buy 2!
