I bought this umbrella for walking my dogs. It is meant to serve two purposes: 1) block the sun for all three of us, and 2) block my dogs' views from something I don't want them barking at. This umbrella is perfect. It is large and provides plenty of shade and makes it easy to block off my dogs. The coverage is about 9 or 10 inches more than most umbrellas. The material provides great shade in the sun. The double canopy really does help with the wind. And finally, it is not a heavy umbrella. This purchase was exactly what I wanted.

First things first... it's huge! My size perception is definitely not good. I knew it was big but when I received it in a box that was LITERALLY MY SIZE I panicked. Once I opened it I realized it as tall as my neighbor's 4 year old child. Yes, I know the title say LARGE GOLF UMBRELLA...Anyways! I actually liked it a lot. It protects not only my face and shoulders but also my calves and my feet. I've never had an umbrella that covered my whole body before. I feel very protected from UV rays and, if I can, I want to take it with me on a trip to sunny Caribbean.PD. Be happy and smile!PD2: Teddy bear in picture used as a size reference.

Had this for months before I really needed it. Classic Florida high wind pouring rain afternoon storm. Made it about 15’ before parts began snapping. Umbrella collapsed in and I got soaked. What’s the point in a fiberglass shaft if the rest is all cheap plastic. Too late for a refund so maybe this will help the next person.

I purchased two of these umbrellas to block the sun during football season. Any parent that’s sat out in the sun during the month of August watching their son play football knows how hot it can be. I debated purchasing a canopy largely because I didn’t want to tote such a large canopy up and down the bleachers. These umbrellas are fantastic and cheaper than buying a canopy. And yes it’s an umbrella so when it rains, it’s a win win.

It is a really awesome umbrella! It is very large and easy to handle. The carrying bag makes it even easier to travel the city with on days where the rain is not constant too. The umbrella is very sturdy, and the seller is extremely proud of their product as well as quick and courteous.

My wife bought me this umbrella because it was designed to handle some wind and it provided a larger protected area than my previous cheap umbrella. However, 5 seconds (literally) after deploying it for the first time the pole fractured right under the spreader mechanism collar and I could no longer retract it. I walked the rest of the way holding the stub of the pole and had to complete the break of the pole in order to retract it and enter the building. At least a half dozen others were near me with their cheap collapsing umbrellas and theirs all survived the moderate winds. Maybe mine was defective, but it my experience this product is an absolute waste of money. You're better off taking your 20 dollar bills and fashioning a rain hat out of them.

We purchased two umbrellasThe good: fiberglass shaft is well made and strong, opening mechanism works well, not weak and seems like it will last for a long time. The umbrella over all doesn’t seem cheaply made and of a higher quality.The bad: Of the two that we purchased, one of the umbrella’s fabric faded after only 5 weeks. We used the umbrellas in the morning hours only while sitting on our patio in the morning sun. They were not used from about 1pm on as the patio had shade. That isn’t much exposure and why one faded and the other didn’t is a mystery. You can see the one on the left has turned more orange, while the one on the right has maintained it’s deeper red color.

I bought the 68 inch version of the UV umbrella. One of the tips came off and was lost the second time I used the umbrella. I wrote to Zekar; I wanted a new tip. They were going to send me a a returned umbrella from which I could pull the tip to replace the lost tip, but I never received a tip or umbrella. The next time I used the umbrella, one of the bars that holds the rib onto the slider broke when I accidentally lightly bumped the umbrella into a door. It was not a hard hit... the part should not have broken IMHO. My other umbrella lasted over 20 years. I wanted a bigger umbrella, but I will now look elsewhere.
