Purchase this June 1st 2018 it works by making the squeaking noise but it doesn’t not keep rodents like mice or chipmunks from going under my Jeep hood. I bought this due to living in the country and my Jeep is parked under our car port. I have found a walnut half chewed right on top of my battery. Found a mice nest near the firewall. Small amount of chipmunk poop under the hood as well and on the top of hood. This item does not work like promised

So far so good ! We live in the mountains and in the past rodents ate the wires to our vehicles.

Do not buy this item. It's cheap chinese junk, and does not work as described. There is nothing ultrasonic about it, and it repeats a loud squealing noise that is terribly obnoxious and audible. In addition, it does not automatically turn off when driving as described... it will continue to sequel while you're driving and you WILL hear it. This device will drive you absolutely insane if you're anywhere near the vehicle.
