Great value, very nice sturdy protective carrying case and it comes with everything needed to test all the circuit types I use (outlets, (light sockets and switches). Beats going thru the breaker box flipping breakers while someone on a phone tells you what turned off. Would definitely recommend, wish I knew about these things years ago. And this kit is half the price of most others

Three stars for operation, and additional start for completeness of the kit. The circuit analyzer and "live current at the socket" tool are very good. However, the receiver/circuit tracer tends to also ID adjacent breakers, even accounting for strength of signal and with the sensitivity turned all the way down. My circuit box is pretty full with some half-height breakers, so that might be part of the problem. However, even as is, it is quite useful to narrowing down the right breaker to 1-2 breakers.

I use this as a breaker finder mostly but checking outlets and live testing are used often too. It helps me work faster and more confidently.

The case and all components seemed to be well made. I have used other manufacturers versions of this device and found them helpful. The unit I received does not work. It always beeps on one breaker no matter where I have the socket tester plugged in or not plugged in at all. The NVC mode also never responded. Unfortunately I did not test this out when received and now cannot return.
