Battery Returned
I believe the battery I received was faulty. I tried it on two different Black & Decker chargers designed for 14.4 V batteries. On one charger the green charge light came on straight away but flashing which I think indicates a fault. On the other charger the red charging lamp came on but remained on for the whole time I tried to charge the battery which was over six hours. The charger became warm but the battery remained cold. I measured the voltage across the battery terminals. There were no volts at all. I have returned the battery and received a full refund, which is good. At some point I intend to re-order an A14 battery. It would be nice to know what the voltage of the battery as-received should be.
