TimexMen's Ironman Triathlon Classic 30 38mm Watch

Watch is awesome. I was a G-Shock dude for over twenty years. I got so tired of how THICK g-shocks are so I stepped out on my relationship and tried this little baddie. I must say that it has been great. Very LOW profile, doesn’t catch on my sleeve a million times a day, and the face is very easy to read, high visibility. Price is right too. I have worn it hard and put it away wet. Highly recommend.

After never taking this watch off for 1.5 years and working with a lot of water all day everyday, this watch developed a mysterious black cloud over half of the face. The Indiglo still worked, but very hard to tell the time-night or day. I definitely got my 30 dollars worth. I don't wear any watch except Timex Indiglo.

I absolutely LOVE my Casio GBA800 that I have bully bars on, so she's quite huge. Analog with Bluetooth, pretty cool. If I ever remember to use such things. I have a phone and laptop on me usually, why do I need to play with my watch? I want to tell time, that's it.Comes along a good sale for an Ironman, and I used to be a complete fanatic for only Ironman for a real person's needs. Why not, I've been fighting the Casio all day with my coat cuff, let's get something a bit slimmer for when it's coat season. See if they're still great. Yup! Sure is.It's been probably 25 years ago last time I wore this style of Timex, and can you believe the button setup and beeps are all still the same as way back when! And somehow, my subconscious remembers the button presses. Wild.This thing is light as a feather, and I got the inverse LCD for fun, which is cool as all get out, but takes some getting used to. The Indiglo sure looks awesome, though, and she's like Knight Rider down there. Stealth. The display is big, and easy even for my old eyes, the band is supremely comfortable, and there's a strap catch that actually works correctly! With no Bluetooth, battery life should be outstanding - always used to be. Back when watch batteries were like $12 each. There goes my allowance! Lol.I'm very impressed by this timepiece. I really didn't mean to order order it, but, oh well. I love it as much as my Casio. Affordable tough watches rock!

I have purchased Timex Iron Man series, and similar, watches for many years. They are an excellent value, with good functionality overall.However, there has been one overriding negative design feature that should have been dealt with a long time ago. That is the strap quality. The strap appears to be silicone, and over time removing the strap causes it to crack prematurely, and break. The watch still functions wonderfully, but the straps are NOT replaceable. Therefore, you either need to cut of most of the strap and use it as a pocket watch (which I will NOT do), or THROW THE WATCH AWAY.Secondly, the Indiglo light design has been changed from older iterations of the watch. Older Indiglo lighting was much brighter and easier to read than in this model. Also, the text font size is now smaller and harder to read. Lastly, the button to activate the Indiglo traditionally was on the lower right button. Now, it has been moved to the upper right button. After many years of knowing where it was, it has been irritating to now still push the wrong button initially.

I love this watch! I had a Casio GShock for the last five years. It was indestructible, but the wrist band split. Instead of replacing it,costly and beyond my skills, I decided to purchase a new one. I settled on the Timex. Here's what I like: larger viewing area with bigger numbers, easier to set the time, easier the turn on the light at night, and all with a lower price than the Casio.

My husband loves this watch because he can tell the time without having to put on reading glasses! He likes the digital time and having the date feature. This is the second one he’s bought. The other one lasted about 20 years and then the strap finally broke. Not bad for the price!!

This is a great little watch. Affordable, but can definitely take a beating. I’m currently serving active duty in the US Army, and I bought this model before I shipped to basic training. It made it through without a problem and is still going strong!
