Nice and steady
This thing rocks! I really like how sturdy it is and the built in protections make it really versatile. I charge battery packs directly with this thing. I power on motors and cameras and laptops and it really does a good job and hasn't complained just yet. I'm really impressed with how steady it can hold the voltage even though the source voltage isn't. I'm powering this thing directly from a rectifying bridge connected to a transformer that is connected directly to AC mains, nothing else. BTW, that brings up one point, finding any kind of DC power source that will come close to the 80v 5amp max is next to impossible here in the US so if you're planning on trying to get up there in the voltages, you might have to make your own power source. I ended up taking a transformer out of an Audio Amp to power mine.P.S it's been a year and it's still working well. For those of you who might be having issues with the higher voltages look closely at the screen and you'll likely see there's a temp failure. There's no audible sound or anything drastic like the whole unit powering off, the device simply powers off the output. A small fan blowing on it is more than enough. I charge ebike battery packs with this all day long at 60 and 72v at all 5 maximum amps and no problems.

1 star and 5 star
Had extremely high hopes. Looks well built, functions are intuitive. I would love love this unit, except that it doesn't reliably work at high voltages. I use it frequently (and reliably), to buck 12 -24 volts down to anything (ie, 6v led lamp). That works. But, when I try to buck 67 volts down to 58v... it will run for a few seconds then shut down. Takes longer to shutdown at lower amperage.. but it still dies. This leads me to believe they may have 'stretched' the voltage specs. Plus, there is a HORRIBLE ripple. They spec 100.. but there's no way.. I don't have a means to measure it, but the ripple is horrific. If you need clean DC on the output.. don't bother.

It worked well until it died after 1 month

This product works good, but has a display probems with the amp reading.
Works good. Used this to convert 48 vdc to my 12vdc solar system at night. Before when the 12 vdc system voltage went low, the 48vdc system would charge the 12 vdc system. But to do that , it would take the power from the 48 vdc convert it to 220vac through the inverter and then go to a battery charger to convert it to 12vdc. With this product it convert it straight from 48 vdc to 12 vdc. This cut the usage from my 48vdc in half. Seems to be very efficient. I like this product very much and gave it a high rating.I had this rated at a 5. But I later found that the product I received does have a problem. So, I dropped the rating down to a three. The unit I received kept going into overtemp. I checked the output with my amp meter and it was putting out 10 amps. The displayed 4 amps. It was outputting 2.5 times that was showing on the display. This cause it to output twice the output rating and to overtemp. I then set the output amps to 2 amps and the output amps went to 5 amps. The amp display is 2.5 times off, so it contols the amps way higher then its rating. It is too expensive for me to send it back, because I am in the Philippines. So, I just multiply what the amp reading says by 2.5 for now. I did test the efficintcy of the unit at 5 amps and 12vdc out with my meters and I got 93.5 %. Which I feel is good.

Seems accurate, works well
I ordered the DROK Numerical Control Voltage Regulator for use in a small flyaway kit that I am working on without fully reading the manual or description of the product, mainly because of the device's display. The voltage regulator does not match the input voltage (part of using a step down regulator), which I missed in the description. That being said, this thing is awesome! The display is crisp, and the controls are intuitive. My only requests to improve this device would be that the button lockout should be able to persist across power cycles, a waterproof gasket and front panel would be awesome, and to include a programmable option to automatically turn on output when input power is received.

Very cool, great for diagnostics and project building.
Love the versatility of this, I just wish there was a larger unit made to handle 15-20 amps. But this thing is awesome. I was gonna build one but this saves money and the readout is amazing.

Excellent Product
The item exceeds my expectation re user-friendliness, making good on the promise, value for money. But above all, quality of product. Very...very good item to have. Have since placed an order for three more.

Can't handle 48v...
I have 3 of these and they seemed to operated fine with supplied from a 24v power supply. But the moment they were connected to a 48v power supply, they snapped and died.My project was a triple output power supply, which I was upgrading my existing 24v version. When I added them to the 48v circuit, that's when the "magic" happened. The power supply was tested and adjusted a tad lower to 46.2v(it's lowest, previous to connecting. Now all 3 are dead.
