Made a recent project more simple than I expected.
My application for these is unusual, but most of what I experienced would apply to other uses. I have small video cameras mounted under a model train layout to be able to see park trains that are hidden from view. The video cameras work OK in low-light but colors and details vanish. So, I mounted these small spot lights behind the cameras to light up the trains. The double-sided tape makes it easy to mount the lights. I added one screws to each light in case the adhesive wears out; without the adhesive, it would be hard to put in the screws. At first I was concerned that the length of the power cable to each light was too short, but they ended up being perfect. I was able to mount the hub in the middle (you can plug up to 6 lights in the hub). I was able to expose the Infra Red sensor where I can easily point the remote at it. I read reviews where the remote control was messed up by TV remotes. In my setup, I have no remotes that cause such issues. You can remove the remote and just switch them off/on if you like. The remote has nice features, but is more complicated than I need. I could see it being useful to light a shadow box, a watch collection etc. You can buy extension cables if you need them, but for me the lengths were perfect. The light output is good, and the beam angle is fine for my purposes. Maybe they could be a little more "flood light" than "spot light" but if you were lighting small collectibles, you would want the narrow beam. I might solve my issue by buying 2 more lights to add tot he exiting hub. Anything negative about them? Well, if you wan tot be picky, the ball-joint mechanism that is used to let you point the spot ant what you want to light works well if the surface you want to light is generally parallel to the surface where the lights are mounted. That could be a wall across the way, or on the ceiling far enough from the subject to allow say a 45-degree, or maybe 30-degree angle. If you go less than that, you are likely to pull the base of the light out of the mounting bracket. They are made of plastic/rubber, so you just pop it back, but it means you would have a hard time lighting something from the side. Given the price and the quality, this is a nit-pick, but still it forced me to choose at least one less than perfect vantage point for them, but again , I was putting them in a small hidden area under a large table. I chose the "cool white" light because of my application. I think they look perfect.

Excellent and easy to use!
I used these to light up a Piano I turned into a bar and they are perfect! Three sets total were used, one set is being used to shine up under the bottles to make them glow. They don't give off any heat and I can dim to the desired level using the remote (note: one remote does control all 3 sets so if you want to control them separately you need to be careful about where the receivers are located).

Great spotlights and excellent customer service
I bought 2 sets a few months ago and finally installed them in display cabinets I've been building. They look great and give the right type of light to the items I was highlighting. Very professional looking black aluminum casings and easy to mount. Depending on your installation and location of the module, you may need the extensions. I did and they work great too. Both spotlight sets worked fine during the installation and testing. When I went to show off the results, one of the sets didn't light. I was able to swap components between sets to isolate the issue to the dimmer. I contacted the seller, XKing, through Amazon and they asked me for some more details and then happily and quickly sent a replacement dimmer and control. I received the replacement 2 days earlier than they told me to expect it. I thought this was great customer service and wanted to share this feedback!

Great Light - Use Just About Anywhere - Great Price - I've bought 4 sets
These lights did exactly as I hoped they would. Easy to place/mount. Very small and light weight. Great price. Get creative on the mounting if need be. The light is very good and the remote lets you vary it a lot. The color of the light, despite the fact that I bought the warm white, is somewhat brighter than I'd like, but it's livable. Maybe rig a filter with some colored, stiff, plastic sheet.Love these spotlights - I'm buying more of them!

Perfect for Highlighting from even 4ft away!
We purchased the 4 mini spotlight kit to highlight the non-lit Santa Christmas tree topper we have. One light is rated at 100 lumen sand we thought that might not be enough so we order the 4 light kit. With only a single mini spot located about 4 feet away from the tree topper, we go the perfect highlight for our Santa topper. See the attached picture. The warm white light is just perfect to provide a pleasing light for the highlighting.Easy to install and the provided adhesive pad has held the light on a painted textured wall for several days now.The 6.5ft long cords to the spots were greatly appreciated and will be long enough for any application we would used it for.We could not be more pleased with out purchase

Work well with minor modification
I really like how my first install with these lights turned out. I found them easy to install and aim, they work well for my purpose.I agree with the reviews talking about the slightly to cool color (they're probably 3000k, not 2700k was 'warm white' would imply). For many of the installations pictured in the other reviews, these lights will have a very bright hot-spot in the center due to how close they're installed, often less than a foot away. In my installation, I unscrewed the end of the lamp and removed the lens over the LED, which makes them more of a flood and gives very even light at short distance. The lens is important to keeping the LED pressed to the back of the lamp to allow for cooling, so I 3D printed up small rings the same diameter and depth as the lens, so the light shouldn't have cooling issues. I also run them at about 30% brightness.I've ordered 36 more of these lights for other areas of my basement bar, so I'm definitely a believer. I do not use the IR remote except for initial setup, as I have them plugged into a smart relay. They turn on to their previously set percentage when they're plugged in. They actually do a smooth dim-up when plugged in, so it's pretty slick.
