Draper 20987 230V Oscillating Multi-Tool

I have owned a similar tool for many years and it finally said that it had had enough so I needed a replacement. I choose Draper because I have owned another of their products which has stood up to lots of hard use. The saw was delivered quickly and arrived safely. I removed it from the box and as I am familiar with with the operation I set it up quickly and used it to complete a project, It worked perfectly and did the job. The tool is supplied in a hard case with several accessories and is simple to operate. Really great value.

Well built but not too heavy, reasonably quiet in operation with not too much vibration. Tools are very easy to fit with alan key provided. Speed control is stable and gives a good range of adjustment.Overall a good machine and not too expensive.

This is a very handy tool if you are doing DIY around the home. Great for cutting into awkward spaces. I used it to cut into skirting boards in order to lay laminate flooring. I'd recommend wearing ear defenders/muffs because it is very noisy - not far behind the racket of a circular saw in action.

Compared to competition in price range, way superior. Only used on one 2 hour job but study, powerful and gives the impression of durability. I bought the cheapest multitool available in a big DIY chain store and it fell to pieces halfway thru a DIY project. I then bought this at a lower price and it finished the job with ease. Very impressed.

This is great, bought it to trim under door frames when fitting laminate flooring and have used it for a number of other jobs since.The quality is outstanding for the price, hard to imagine how it could be better.The scraper tool that comes with it is good, the blades not so much, so definitely buy some 3rd party blades to go with it.It has a standard fitting so any of the popular blade packs on here will work fine.Honestly, one of the best tool purchases I've ever made.

I have successfully used this to complete a few home renovation jobs. Quite chunky and powerful so you need to hold on firmly. Inside it helped me to chop under door frames prior to installing engineered wood flooring. Outside, after purchasing the necessary blades, it helped to remove the heads of decking screws. I am sure it will be useful in other ways in the future.

Bought this to remove floor tile grout and then cut and shape a double thickness plastic bath panel. I bought some special grinding blades for grout removal. This tool was great for both, with care the old grout was cleanly and easily removed without tile damage, a dusty job - wear a mask and keep the door shut otherwise dust gets everywhere. Cutting the bath panel was easy usung the cutting blade provided, cutting along a marked line was easy, even when I strayed you can shave very small amounts to get shaping exact. The only downside - it is noisy and after a while starts to numb your hands, but the ease of use and multi uses far outweigh that.

Bought this as I was fitting laminate flooring and needed to undercut the door jams. Cut through the solid cherry wood door jams easily. The variable speed was great too. Only draw back was I bought the blades recommended and they didn’t fit so had to return them. The blades that come with it aren’t that great either. I bought some good quality blades which made the job really easy. Overall great bit of kit
