Content: Still a very valuable book, concise book for introducing new developers and sysadmin to the minimal mindset of the unix tools, shell scripting, and writing new, small tools. It has aged well... I just picked up an extra copy to share with new developers.THIS PRINTING: The new copy I received had pages 11-357 bound rotated 180 degrees, so you have to flip the book upside down and read the pages in reverse order. I'm not sure whether to return it, or try to use it as a gag gift...

I haven't got too far, but I keep seeing things that make me say, "I remember doing that." I thought I understood the Unix philosophy, but I am finding I really don't know how functional all the little pieces can build something amazing. I look forward to finishing it.
