The fabric is NOT cotton. Description online says 'light cotton', but the tag on the item says 100% Polyester.In terms of size, I'd recommend size up.

Way smaller than described....really annoyed about it.Fits my 12 year old...so if you weigh more than 113 pounds, forget it.
