We got our HG1 about 2 weeks ago and have since calibrated it proper to ensurethat the Projector will properly back play IMAX style blu ray movies likeTransformers: The Last Knightwhich switch to & fro from full to letter box during the playback.This projector fills the screen without overblast etc.When a scene switches from letter box to full IMAX screen, this projectordoes it smoothly in a fashion that you don't realize it happened.Most excellent!Now, the 3D performance is stellar.If you take the time to learn the remote in order to setup the 3D playback you'llbe converted to a 3D fan in a snap.3D setup requires that the user press and hold the description button for 5 secondsto call up the 3D dashboard that allows you to adjust the settings that matchyour movies parameters.Most folks don't know how to access the 3D dashboard so they get frustrated and quit.I've never seen 3D this good, not even at our local IMAX.No BS.My wife is 3D fanatic and will shoot it straight.She was absolutely stunned by the H1 projector's 3D playback on our 100" instahibit pulldown screen.I noted the screen type to show we have an entry level screen & the 3D still"Makes ya' wanna duck"during scenes where arrows fly out or explosions spew shrapnel outta the screen into the room.This unit projects life-like 3D without special screens or other hyperbole.The HD picture is razor sharp in all formats.Hands down the best projector we've used in our Home Theater / Living room.Another plus, the 3D action timed perfectly with the 7.1 DTS-HD Master Audiomaking for a magical movie night.Well, there it is.For $605 from Lightwish via Amazon, it included 2 pairs of 3D glasses which are verylight weight and draw zero attention to themselves during playback.Including 2 pairs of free 3D glasses was a great plus.One less thing to buy.Also, since XGIMI included the free 3D glasses, in the unique, drawer style box, made usfeel at ease knowing they'll mate with H1 properly the 1st time out.If you're looking for a real 3D HD projector?This IS the projector you seek.~ peace

Worth every penny! The quality is great you could watch it with lights on or with the blinds open and the picture still looks great.

This projector is very good, they need to do some improvements to solfware.

Don't buy it.The thing is, if you ever need support from xgimi you are in a bad situation.If you ever need parts replacement like lens for example you can not find it anywhere.Just Google XGimi H1 parts ... and you will understand... try ebay, try aliexpress, try any other search site engine.Look for something that you will have support and parts if you need them in the future.Thanks
