Well built - performs well
I did a lot of shopping around in the box stores and on the internet before deciding on this unit. Pole length, bar length, battery capacity, and price were among the most important reasons for the choice. Being an unrecognized brand gave me pause, but I took a shot.My first impressions after unboxing were that it was well built and sturdy. It was easy to assemble as well. The battery and charger are standard fair and worked well.I've now had a chance to put it to good use and I am quite pleased. It cuts quickly and cleanly without bucking. The motor is consistent and strong. It has gone through several 3" limbs without issue. I'm sure it will cut through much larger limbs.I can confirm what other reviews have mentioned, and that is that the chain tension mechanism does loosen up after a few cuts no matter how tight the locking nut is. I've written the company to see if they have any suggestions on how to address that. It's not a deal breaker for me since it is easy to retighten. This is the only reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5.
