My old strainer had begun to detach from the rim and I was losing my toddler's pastina with each rinse. I decided to bite the bullet and invest in a new set of strainers. I chose these for the brand because I'm wary of potential rust or fake metal coatings. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of them when they arrived! They're a good weight and feel substantial. Thus far, they drain well when straining and rinsing noodles, pasta, fruit and other common rinse-ables. Nice long handles make them easy to use. I'll update this review in the future if anything changes, but so far I'm happy with the set!

These Cuisinart ones are actually quite sturdy, with handles that feel solid and mesh that seems like it's not going to get rusty. They are beautifully weighted. This is a great buy and will probably last forever!
