Draw-Tite 76634 Class 3 Trailer Hitch Review - Lexus NX350h Premium
The Draw-Tite 76634 Class 3 trailer hitch with the 2-inch square receiver proved to be an excellent addition to my Lexus NX350h Premium. Installation was surprisingly straightforward and quick, taking exactly 35 minutes from start to finish. One minor step involved removing the toe hitch bracket on the passenger side, which was easily accomplished. Impressively, unlike some other installations I've read about, there was no need to lower the exhaust or any other undercarriage brackets. This significantly streamlined the process. The installation technique of pushing the hitch up at an angle with two people and then hand-tightening the initial bolts on each side proved effective for getting it into position. For safety and easier access, elevating the rear of the vehicle with a floor jack and securing it with jack stands was a necessary and recommended step.Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with the Draw-Tite 76634. The product feels robust and well-made, and the price was very competitive. It's a testament to a well-designed product when installation can be this efficient. If you're looking for a Class 3 hitch for your Lexus NX350h Premium, the Draw-Tite 76634 is definitely worth considering.

This receiver fit my 2015 Kia Sedona like a glove
I did some research and found that the Drawtite hitch had a welded plate for a bracket to hold the electrical 4-pin connector in place. The other available hitch for my 2015 Sedona did not have this feature so I went with Drawtite. I'm glad I did. This thing went on in mere minutes once the vehicle was on a lift. It took longer to remove the rubber hangars on the exhaust system then it did to bolt up the receiver once there was room for it on the passenger side above the resonator and the vehicle was on a lift. After installation, I discovered there was sufficient room ABOVE the welded bracket to allow placement of the bracket on the top side which will protect it. It would be tough to install this receiver without lifting the vehicle. It'd be possible for some but it's really a job for two guys and with the vehicle on a lift.My only negative comment was in the packaging. This thing is big and it's heavy so shipping it inside a box might well be prohibitively expensive? I get and accept that. Instead, it was wrapped in a couple of layers of shipping plastic ... in other words ... it wasn't really protected. It arrived with a few scratches and paint spots off but generally OK via UPS. I'd have liked to have seen it wrapped in bubble wrap and tape as a minimum. The shipping methodology comment notwithstanding, I'm happy with my purchase. Now I can tow a small cargo trailer w/ my Sedona. BTW: I went with the Tekonsha electrical converter box which also worked great. I drilled one hole in the receiver L end plate to hold the converter near the vehicles pre-installed interface connectors and the whole process worked great.Yesterday, I completed the install of the Tekonsha 118269 electrical converter assembly for the vehicle. Piece of cake. I decided to modify the L/H plastic underbody closeout cover to allow reuse. With the receiver mounted, it has to be slit open about 1" wide and 9" long to fit around the L receiver end plate. I used a pneumatic hack saw which did a nice job In fact, it almost looks stock it fits so tightly. This'll keep water from splashing up into the area where the electrical connectors are or the lower rear fender area. If you have someone install the receiver for you ... make sure they do this for you !

Take your time read the instructions completely first.
This was the most challenging trailer hitch install I've done so far. This hitch appears to fit a lot of different brands and models of vehicles so I should say I put mine on a 2009 Subaru Forester. So far, I've done one on my 2002 accord, my 2009 corolla, a 2004 impreza I used to have, and a 2015 highlander. This was the hardest. There was the combination of enlarging holes which I personally just drilled bigger even though you are supposed to drill two small holes and file. This was the only trailer hitch I've done where the mufflers had to be disconnected. I've done several where they had to be lowered but not actually disconnected. Perhaps it could have been done if every hanger was disconnected but the mufflers still bolted on. Probably so but I didn't catch the hanger on the side of each muffler. Also, my instructions disappeared under my piece of cardboard which is my bad luck I guess because I didn't notice right away there are two different sizes of bolts. These are all mistakes I made but it's not easy regardless. The trailer hitch itself is pretty awesome it's a 2 inch receiver which I've never seen on any car I own even my 2008 outback. I just use a hitch for bikes and a cargo tray sometimes so it's not that amazing but still pretty good. I bet the hitch can handle more than my rust bucket 2009 forester from PA that I probably shouldn't have bought but was mechanically sorted including head gaskets and the interior is quite nice. I drown everything in fluid film and we'll see how long it lasts. OK, I'll give the hitch five stars, I made a couple mistakes. Although my mufflers were pretty new, it was probably easier to disconnect them and let them hang by the outside hanger than remove all the hangers and try to get them back in place later.

Well built, quality products.
Tip: Before installing hitch, take a bolt and screw it into each of the five holes then remove it to clean the threads out. When installing the hitch just thread bolts leaving them loose so you can move the hitch slightly to install all the bolts. I recommend antiseize on the threads and torque them to 50 lbs. Excellent product, well built, fit perfectly on my 2021 Murano. Easy install.
